EEVILMURRAY Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I'll take a picture of my Amazing New Beystadium when I return from work tonight.
Hellfire Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 Beystadium... is that from beyblade?... You... like beyblade?
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Beystadium... is that from beyblade?... You... like beyblade? I got a crapload ages ago, in my days as a 'mon Gym Leader. I also have about 7 DVDs of the anime ¬_¬ But yeah the physical game isn't that bad. Multi-built spinning tops. It's genius. The larger Beystadium only cost 16p. Marked down from 26p. I regret nothing bitch. Nothing. YOU HEAR ME!?
Hellfire Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 Well, as long as you admit it Besides you were a colleague since I was a Gym Leader too :P There was a genious thread on neo gaf about beyblade a time ago: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=307751 I laughed so much.
ReZourceman Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I liked Beyblade back in the day. Murrays right, it is fucking genius. Plus it was like....the only "craze" type thing where the fake/knock offs were actually kinda cool too. Like the handle things, and the new weight rings, chips. Man it was awesome. Me and a friend at school liked it, and played it. (Although we didnt have a stadium) I think I've got em somewhere. I'm feeling kinda nostalgic actually....maybe I should hunt some official ones from eBay/somewhere. xx I wanna see those pics Murray.
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I wanna see those pics Murray. Ask and j00 shall recieve. Here is the original Beystadium I got years ago [about 6-7] The new one for a Dickinson Bargain Price of 16p. Size comparison. And the blades that I own. pr0
ReZourceman Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Oooooh nice. I did accidentally buy a few from eBay so I will await their arrival. Obv those green ones are AMAZ.
DanielTimothy Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Beyblade was awesome, I had the remote control one which was basicly cheating. I had some imported Japanese ones as well that kicked ass. Think I lost my collection when we moved though. This thread is win - I'm tempted to post my megazords! ;D
ReZourceman Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 megazords! ;D Fucking do it dude. Do that shit. White Tiger Zord that shit. The only one I ever had was Zeo, which I did love. However I played with my friends Mighty Morphin/Dragonzord/White Tiger Zord all the time. Love love love. I want to make it out of LEGO when I move out and get my LEGO workshop.
Hellfire Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 Bump. OK, almost done with the Gundam, I'll upload some now :P Stage 4: Leg Units Not the most exciting picture wise, but damn, this was hard work. Specially the first one, I spend ages just doing one. Dang. Foot. Duh. This is where the exoskeletons of the legs are. Even getting it out was hard. You're skinny Gundam, you gotta eat a sammich! Skipped to the final part. Man that was hard. Repeat for the other leg :P Stage 5: Waist Unit Easy, but it allows me to finally connect the legs to the Gundam ^^ Yay, a skirt. A manly skirt. Hell yeah legs! You've got boost power! *drum roll* Hells yeah! OK, now the remaining things to make him look bigger and more badass :P
Blue_Ninja0 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 ^ Awesome! One step closer to world domination. Shino, do a gif of this one too, now! I'll post the original:
Hellfire Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 Totally forgot to post these Stage 6: Gauntlet & Shield Units Now that's what I'm talkin about! Hell yeah! Stage 7: Weapons or We're gonna need bigger guns Shotgun! It's hueeeeg! Complete! There are some extra things I don't know what for and some other hands that might be easier for making poses. There also a gazillion stickers, but I'll put those later, it looks good without them and I need to see which ones I'll use. I also need to put the base together. I really loved it and I'll probably get more models (although they take up a lot of space... and money) in the future. I'll post some poses later :P
Paj! Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Late on the Beyblade train, but this thread inspired me to get mine down for a wee look. My "Ice" stadium in in storage, so I only had my normal small one. The fucking lovely Trygle. No idea which one was Left spin...was it Dragoon? I loved.
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Where did you get yours from then Hellfire?
ReZourceman Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Yeah Dragoon I think that is.....I had it. That Trygle thing is a thing of bloody beauty. I did buy this metal one from eBay it is proper sweet, and I bid on loads Including the big wheel one...Tripod or whatever its called, but I lost. Metal ones awesome though. Also the launcher has holes for left and right spin.
ReZourceman Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 That Gundam looks so damn cool. You could say....so god-damn cool. Gun-damn cool.
not_so_tiny Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I went into The Entertainer today and saw a new range (I think they were new) of Marvel Legend figures. I used to collect these when I was at uni, spent so much money on them. Most of them were great quality, looked awesome and were designed and painted really well, but these new ones look like generic figurines, I was very disappointed....I'm still going to pick up Quicksilver soon...I mean it is only £5.
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I was looking at some pr0 models on Ebay, weird thing is on some models they say the model size is something like 13.5cm. Which can't be true on these models. I assume they mean width.
Hellfire Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 Where did you get yours from then Hellfire? A store in here Portugal. That Gundam looks so damn cool. Many thanks You could say....so god-damn cool. Gun-damn cool. You're blowing my mind. EEVIL, there are different scales, there are Gundams of that height. but google them to be sure. Mine's a Master Grade, so 1/100, Perfect grade is 1/60. Size isn't everything though, so make sure to read about them, although most of the times, only ronery otaku guys can notice a difference in quality or just bitch for bitching sake.
