You may or may not have noticed that we have now changed the spoiler boxes. Whilst they used to have a grey box like quotes, they are now 'invisible'. We believe this looks better, we hope you agree :)

See, an invisible box

:)

A few people have started using spoiler boxes to hide images in their sigs that are significantly larger than our signature rules allow, so we've made some changes to sig rules to accomodate this concept.

Signature rule changes regarding spoiler tags

Spoiler boxes are not to be used to supercede the size restrictions on signature images. They are also not to be used to put YouTube videos in your sigs. However you may use them for text, links, wii/ds codes, psn ids, gamercards and similar things.

Since spoiler tags take up roughly 25-30px of height, do not have more than one in your signature (although you could include more inside each other).

Edit: Please note that while it is possible for you to "hide" rule-breaking things from us in spoiler tags, if you are caught doing so, it will lead to the appropriate infraction!

i.e. its not as instantly noticable as a normal signature. People may think if they put something under 12 spoiler cuts we won't see.

I think it means you're not to post porn or other rule-breaking material in your spoiler tags.

That is of course against the rules, but Shorty was talking more about images that break the size limit and so on.

Damnit, not even if we warn in the Spoiler Box that its large? :(

No.

And furthermore do you really need a poster in your sig? It was a bit much. And then two youtube vids on top. A signature should be an expression of yourself, not a copy&paste-athon.

How do I add a spoiler tag? I tried but it's not showing up. I'm trying to add Friend Codes in the spolier tag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[noparse]

Put your spoiler here.

Edit: Failseven.

Edit 2: You don't need code tags at all (nor do they help), just use [noparse] tags if you want to demonstrate BBCode usage.
