triforce_keeper Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Right, I've had my "Natwest Adapt Account" for about 7 months now, and it's getting a real pain in the arse having to keep checking my balance by going to a cash machine! I'm buying online more frequently now, and is getting hard to keep track of my payments, so I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any alternate was of checking my balance other than Online banking (im under 16) and the mobile phone banking (as my phone doesn't support it). I'd appreciate it guys Thanks.
Ramar Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Erm the good old fashioned way, do your own accounting. Take a balance, then note down all income and expenditure.
ReZourceman Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Id try either online banking or mobile phone banking. Both of which you should be able to do.
triforce_keeper Posted August 2, 2008 Author Posted August 2, 2008 You can ring up Natwest. 0845 60 50 789 They said I have to be 16 :/ Id try either online banking or mobile phone banking. Both of which you should be able to do. Same as above :/
Guest bluey Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 wait 5 and a half months and then call them or yeah, start noting down all your expenditures etc and do your own accounting ^_^ or just keep all of those topman receipts!

Yeahh, I tried doing that, but recently lost track, and yeah, just kinda hoped there would be something I could do now :/ Ah well, thanks for the help guys.
Shorty Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Ah well, thanks for the help guys. You missed Ramar's suggestion then? It's not just a windup. If you just make note of what you put in and what you take out, you'll know how much you have...

Shorty Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 For some reason I thought you meant you lost track of waiting 5 months.

KingJoe Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 I'm guessing Natwest online doesn't work for that kind of account...?
triforce_keeper Posted August 3, 2008 Author Posted August 3, 2008 I'm guessing Natwest online doesn't work for that kind of account...? It does, just not for under 16's :/
Sanchez Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 I have an account just for bills which I make sure has the right amount of the money at the start of the month.
Jon Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Have you tried online banking? Read the thread. Maybe check what other banks policies are on age for onlin banking. *checks natwest online banking*

Jimbob Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Erm the good old fashioned way, do your own accounting. Take a balance, then note down all income and expenditure. Best thing to do if u don't want to go online, down bank or call them. Worked for me, now i know i am up on my finances which is where i want to be.
