Jonnas Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Ah, see? Portugal has good taste and no political preferences at all, aside from all the Ukrainian/Spanish immigrants around here.
Mr-Paul Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 I'm Greek. Aaaah i seeeee. It;'s just that before it seemed like you were supporting France, then suddenly you changed to Greece! Sorry if I offended you in any way!
Daft Posted May 24, 2008 Author Posted May 24, 2008 Aaaah i seeeee. It;'s just that before it seemed like you were supporting France, then suddenly you changed to Greece! Sorry if I offended you in any way! Haha! Don't worry, it's not like I was singing! :p Also I would rather France won since Tellier is a legend, it's just in the face of their utter failure, Greece doing well is pretty cool.
Mokong Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 my god half way through the scores and Russia and Greece still have relitivly no gap. I can imagine this coming down to the final vote, man that must be nail biting stuff for the performers
Platty Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Loving the Wogan. Andorra voting for portugal and spain lolz. Dear oh dear. I don't think we should bother entering this anymore it's a complete joke and has been for years with too many countries voting political by giving higher points to their neighbours, You can more or less guess what points will go where regardless of how good or bad the songs were. You may aswell cut out all the songs and just have a vote for your favourite country competition every year
Tales Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Does anyone like Russia? Personally I don't think they were any good.
Mokong Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 looks like i spoke (or posted) soon, Russia now starting to make a small gap between themselves and Greece Does anyone like Russia? Personally I don't think they were any good. I'd rather them than the bubblegum pop that was Greece (sorry Daft)
Daft Posted May 24, 2008 Author Posted May 24, 2008 How is Azerbaijan getting any points?! I'd rather them than the bubblegum pop that was Greece (sorry Daft) If I was the one singing, I would have taken offense...sadly they didn't pick me to represent.
Platty Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Malta you let me down. Ah at least Ireland gave us points. That's it for us now then. 14 points. hmmm
Jonnas Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 C'mon, Spain. 8 points? Is that the best you can do? Hmmm...Maybe the key for Portugal's victory is in separating Catalunia and Galiza from Spain...
Mr-Paul Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 YAY FOR THE IRISH! THEY VOTED FOR LATVIA! AND WE'RE BOTTOM!
Mokong Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 10 points to Poland from Ireland.... you know that's mainly because half of Poland have relitives in Ireland...there's another reason they should stop public voting and go back to good old days of a panel of judges, countries that have emigrants in large quantities in other countries can easily influence the vote which isn't much fair
stev2604 Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 YAY FOR THE IRISH!THEY VOTED FOR LATVIA! AND WE'RE BOTTOM! Go us! A bit ironic that we complain about political voting, when out top 3 votes are: 1) Latvia 2) Poland 3) UK

There's tons of Bosnians working here.
BeerMonkey Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 uk at/near bottom again...thought would be doing a little better to be fair as andy isnt too bad
Daft Posted May 24, 2008 Author Posted May 24, 2008 Was Sweden high? Looks like Russia have it, I'm just surprised Greece did so well, it was truly terrible.
uka100 Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Oh my god, that Swedish bloke announcing the scores was hilarious =D.
Mokong Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Go us! A bit ironic that we complain about political voting, when out top 3 votes are: 1) Latvia 2) Poland 3) UK well you have to admit the UK is a political vote from Ireland, Poland is cuz of the thousands of Polish that are now here and there's also a fair few Lativians here too....but they had Pirates so i'm gonna assume most Irish peoples (like me) voted for them too EDIT: Hold up 2 countries left to vote.... I think Russia have this wrapped up now
The fish Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Oh my god, that Swedish bloke announcing the scores was hilarious =D. Poor guy... He was rather pretty, though.
gmac Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 never would have guessed Montenegro would give the 12 points to Serbia
