Ashley
I'm still doubtful. It seems like it was made to be presumed but she wasn't speaking to him as if she was seeing her father, or merely imagined someone like her father because she has a daddy complex. I'd still call this a red herring because for a show so intricitly woven as BSG with its twist and turns and ZOMGS I can't imagine they'd say: "There was another cylon, he was artistic." Two episodes later. "Oh hai! This is Kara, she thinks she may be a cylon or something and look, she is artistic, her dad played piano" It seems too obvious, so im saying red herring currently. jayseven
New Ep is downloaded and I HAVE A PREDICTION! By the end of the season, Galactica will be controlled by Anders. Like, they'll hook up his brain to the cyborg ship that galactica'll be after all that weird shit's been spread all over its innards. Which will be epic and deem a possible movie in two years time. OOH! OR! All humans die. That would be a real epic.
Ashley
Yeah except he's been disconnected, they're abandoning Galactica (both the ship and series. deep yo!) and Adama clearly feels he has raped the ship enough with the cylon glue yet alone basically replicating a baseship in whole
jayseven
I draw attention to the part where I said I made the prediction before watching the episode. I now feel silly.
Ashley
You didn't say you made the prediction prior to the episode. You said you had downloaded the episode and made a prediction. No timeframe was determined
Dan_Dare
but they're 'sending her off in style'- Anders in control somehow could make a lot of sense especially if they mean to take Cavel out in an epic finale.
Mokong
I've already predicted everyone dies a few weeks back only two weeks left now and we'll find out... WOOOT

Paj!
Skipped past every reply in this thread to ask this; Can I buy Battlestar Galactica: Razor now? As I've just watched the episode where the foetal blood cured Roslins cancer. And from what I've read, Razor is set during the brief period of Admiral Cain's control over the fleet. Will it ruihn anything I haven't seen/reference stuff..?
Ashley
Most people say to watch it after season three because events from the end of season three are referenced.
Tales
You should see it after season 3. It has a tiny reference to the end of that season. Edit: Too slow >_>
Paj!
Ok, I'll wait. Or maybe buy it now/watch it later, whatever.
Ashley
For those who hate the preview thing at the start of episodes you should be glad? So Laura's family died before the attack, several months before. Did we know this? I presumed they died (or Laura wanted people to presume) they died in the attack. Nice to see Adama and Hotdog have a little scene (somehow the legendary Olmos fathered that odd looking fellow). Did Gauis change sides? I'd presume he would after his talk with Lee but I can't remember seeing it. I expected him to wait to the end so that everyone could SEE him doing so but then Laura came along. People don't give enough interviews in baths nowadays... I hope Karl and Sharon's relationship isn't going down the pan because they've been (fairly) solid since the start. So what does the last two parts hold? Other than Kara is there any big questions? Of course im expecting a budget-blowing epic space battle as they head off to war with the cylons (all of this has happened before...)
jayseven
... seemed primarily just to be about setting up a big, epic battle. Honestly this episode felt like a filler and a bit contrived in places. What is interesting is the characters they chose to focus on for the backstories; roslin, baltar, starbuck and wossisface will clearly play masssiiiv rolse in the finale. I predict that baltar does go with the 'fight', and ends up taking Hela with the cylons as the humans dieeeee..!
Mokong
God damn that ep was such a tease. Was about to say "WTF nothing is happening" then Adama and Starbuck started putting the line down and thing finally something gonna happen. I wish they had showed a scene with Sam talking to Adama and Starbuck though, I want to know exactly what he said that changed the old mans mind. Was expecting to see Baltar join the fight too... he'll prolly join late... then try and join Cavil or something. Man can't wait for next weeks ep.... it's set up to be an epic ending. I bet they send Galactica in first, unmaned, it gets blown to pieces and then the rest jump in on the baseship or something.
jayseven
Surely they'll unearth the final cylon? Anyone remember Starbuck on New Caprica -- that scar on her stomach. Ovarectomy! The new starbuck could be a clone..? At first I was a bit pessimistic about the finalé, but thinking about the leads they have left to tie up... baltar's whole prophet thing, the theatre dream, "all along the watchtower", hera's role, roslin's cancer, BSG's destruction (bound to happen), starbuck, the final 13th skinjob and, of course, Lee Adama's slowly flailing role in the show -- will he pilot a viper? I don't want it to be some hench-ass battle. I want answers :P
Cube
http://www.guardian.co.uk/culture/tvandradioblog/2009/mar/16/battlestar-galactica-united-nations The United Nations has a lot on its plate: war, terrorism, and climate change are top of a long list of problems needing urgent solutions. With the world's politicians unable to get a grip, perhaps it is not surprising that the UN should turn to the producers and cast of dark science fiction drama Battlestar Galactica for a little illumination on global dilemmas. A retrospective of the critically acclaimed show and a discussion panel will take place tomorrow in the Economic and Social Council Chamber of the UN in New York City. According to the Sci Fi Channel, the event will look at how the show has examined issues such as "human rights, children and armed conflict, terrorism, reconciliation, and dialogue among civilizations and faith" over the past four seasons. Its final episode airs on Friday. Executive producers Ronald D Moore and David Eick, as well as stars Mary McDonnell (who plays president Laura Roslin) and Edward James Olmos (the stoic Admiral William Adama) will appear on the panel. The choice of Whoopi Goldberg as moderator has also raised eyebrows, though anyone who has seen her gush over McDonnell and Olmos on American talk show The View won't be surprised at her presence. The UN invitation is perhaps the ultimate accolade for executive producer Moore, who felt that the original classic show's premise – a ragtag group of humans seting out into space to flee their own extinction – had a different resonance in a world changed after 9/11. In plotting his re-imagined Battlestar Galactica, Moore seriously considered what humanity would be capable of under life-threatening pressure. Time and again the show posits the question – how far would you go to survive? The event has some viewers scratching their heads in confusion. Brad Kerchak at the TV Squad blog accused it of being somewhat trivial since the UN representatives "could have just attended Comic Con and gone to similar panels". Matt Blum over at the Wired's GeekDad blog offered more support, though he wondered: "Is [someone] higher-up at the UN a fan of the show? Or did a Sci Fi PR person call up someone at the UN and pitch the idea to him or her?"
Cube
I loved it: The calm before the storm. It was nice to see characters before the attack, and more of Caprica City in it's full glory (I hope that the Caprica series manages to capture the same look and keep it). I'm guessing that Baltar will go along with the mission so that the Opera House scene can take place. There's also all the other questions to answer. Although one I've just thought of (and probably won't be mentioned in the show): Who's going to be put in charge of the fleet. The president and vice president are going, as is the main military force. It's just the main government (who still don't sound completely convinced about the cylons) and the baseship. Will something go wrong with the fleet while the rescue mission is going on? And something else: Was it my imagination or did Tyrol tell Tory that he had something better for them to do? Methinks that suicide (and a resurrection near Cavil) may be involved. I think that it would be rather poetic if Cavil's inhibitors on the Centurions backfires and is killed by a Centurion - repeating the cycle once again. Cube
Oh...and about that conversation Adama was having in the flashback. I think it may have been talking about the mission where he had to send someone into Cylon space six years before the attack.
