jayseven Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Dan I'm guessing you're still touring the 'verse... Grunchie I have no idea why you haven't finalised yet, but we have less than 100 minutes for you guys to do so.
The fish Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Supergrunch always seems to want to issue is orders last, which is a little annoying. In the other game: Dyson, you are needed!
Supergrunch Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Right, my orders are finalised... tending to issue them last is less of a tactical thing and more of a laziness thing. Edit: Fish, you bastard.
The fish Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Edit: Fish, you bastard. In my defence, I'm making the map look neater. That's my story and I'm sticking to it... Oh, and, for both games, where the hell is Dyson?
MoogleViper Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 The thing wont work for me. Whenever I click on the Diplomacy thing it just says "The connection was reset". Gah my internet has been shit all day.

Gah my internet has been shit all day. I think they're doing maintainence. Just hit try again, and it works for me. You don't have to do anything until Dyson returns - unlike with Supergrunch, I stuck to my word...

jayseven Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 c'mon grunchie! you're all that's holding us back from the next round
Supergrunch Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Sorry, I've moved now. I'm slowly dying, and Dan seems to have vanished...
Dan_Dare Posted April 17, 2008 Author Posted April 17, 2008 I've not vanished, I was just busy as fuck in hong kong and flying home. back in gmt now anyway so businessas usual. on with the game: looks like the rooskies are going to win, but Austria and myself are still in the runnings, although the pesky turks have forced a defensive stance from me.
The fish Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Two things: Dyson is needed in both games, and shouldn't this be in the playground?
Mr_Odwin Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Two things: Dyson is needed in both games, and shouldn't this be in the playground? I think so. (Anyone can move it back if they disagree.)
Dan_Dare Posted April 19, 2008 Author Posted April 19, 2008 move is fine. more importantly, which one of you knobjockies just blocked my fleet movement?
The fish Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Oddly, Italy is about to betray you in the other game. However, he also seems to think it will stop me and Austria from crushing him like an empty tin can...
Dyson Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I'm just not very good at this game. Both times I've seemed to fail from the start.

Dan_Dare Posted April 20, 2008 Author Posted April 20, 2008 in fairness Dyson, me and my friends call Italy 'the bitch of europe' so you got a bit unlucky in our game. question for everyone: some time this week, does anyone want to make an evening of a game with a 1 hour time limit? I'm thinking a few of us playing as fast as you do on the real game, hanging out on here or something. could be fun.
MoogleViper Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Yeah I'm up for that, some fast paced goodness. Yeah I'm up for that. Maybe a weekend or something. How fast do you think the game could move? (although for me and Dyson it would be over in a minute.)
Dan_Dare Posted April 20, 2008 Author Posted April 20, 2008 well on the actual game, i reckon 5-10 mins on average. with hour turns though we have time for food breaks and the like. could be awesome-o but we'd need everyone to be sure they can stick it out.
