Posted March 8, 2008 This is an interesting quote from Pirotic (mod) on eurogamer One thing I know from the dev kits is that the font sets are different for each console region, so even if it unloads itself from memory I can't imagine it's that hard to have the software itself check what fonts are available on that machine and deduct what region it is even if the region code has been changed. Posted March 8, 2008 But as Codejunkies have apparently tested the Japanese version of Brawl, and it worked , I guess the fonts don't matter as much.Most games draw the fonts by themselves anyway. Might have something to do with openly being taken by Bowser and not resisting or perhaps it's cause she has weird weapons in Melee and the fact that she's the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, she sacrifices a Toad...
