Guest bluey Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 hi all! my friend lozi is going to be doing race for life this year! I'm doing the Race For Life at Silverstone circuit for the second time this year, I did it two years ago and it nearly killed me, but I've been going to the gym a lot since then and so this year, I aim to beat my previous time of 40 minutes and my previous total of £100! so if any of you have a couple of quid to spare for cancer research - (and you'd like to surprise her by helping to completely blow her target of £100 - i thought that'd be great!!) here is her sponsorship page. is anyone else going to be taking part...? have you done it before...? who did you run for? i've never done it before - only sponsored those who have...if i did it - it'd be more like a live version of run fat boy run.. "40 minutes"?? 4 days more like...
ReZourceman Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Props to Martinist for pledging £25.00. Theres loads of people at my work who I sponsor for this, so Ill just pledge £2.00 for Lozi. *Free bump*
Eenuh Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Just sponsored her. At this rate she should reach her goal in no time I think. And wow at martinist's contribution; nice! =D
ReZourceman Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Heh heh, practically halfway to the target. NE = win.
Aimless Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 is anyone else going to be taking part...? have you done it before...? who did you run for? It's a female-only event, which somewhat limits the chances of people here having taken part. My sister usually races, although she's holding down two jobs at the moment so might be a bit busy this year.
Blackfox Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Why is it female only? They'd get more money if men could take part.. idiots.
rokhed00 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Why is it female only? They'd get more money if men could take part.. idiots. Men don't get breast cancer.
Charlie Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Men don't get breast cancer. Umm, yes they can.
triforce_keeper Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I seen she raised the target to £150 XD Hope she gets to it! Or even farther! But it's looking like she will, so yay ^_^
