Eddage Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I too shout tuneage :awesome: I notice you're from yorkshire too, maybe it's a yorkshire thing........ Well I'm with the tuneage lot and I'm from Somerset, but then I think I am probably the only one who says it around here, most of them just say tune.
Cube Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I notice you're from yorkshire too, maybe it's a yorkshire thing........ Yea, I've picked it up since I started uni in Sheffield.
Dan_Dare Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I second that- I'm from sheff and picked it up there somehow
MoogleViper Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I'm from just south of Yorkshire and I put -age on the end of a lot of things. As do many people round here.
weeyellowbloke Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I'm not sure if that's just a Yorkshire thing. I know loads of people who say pubbage, chammage, tuneage, etc. Although chammage seems to be a purely local Oxford thing.
Eddage Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Its not just a Yorkshire thing, I do it all the time! It started after my old work cleaning schedule said "check all signage is correct and visible." I laughed after reading it (simple things and all that) and then started putting 'age' on the end of words, hence my username!
Vicar Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Yeah I got a thing me and my friend do sometime when we win a level in gunstar heroes or something else, we shout "Go team Venture" and...... thins sound really familiar ... Darn you Mundi now every one will be copying us at least we have the explosion punch left :þ
