Daft Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I'm excited about Heavy Rain because not only does it technically look more advance than anything else, and the story being key, but from what I've read about the controls they seem to be very different. Not sure if that is along the lines of what you're thinking.
MATtheHAT Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 On the flip side, there is nothing wrong with not being innovative and just trying to perfect the genre and push the envolope that little bit. Street Fighter 4 is a good example of this.

Street Fighter 4 is a good example of this. Totally. When SFIV achieves astronomical sales (and it will), im hoping some of my other favorite franchises follow suit and return to their roots. I look at games like this and Muramasa and think how good a new 2D Mario or Metroid or even Final Fantasy could look and play
flameboy Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 That GoW III trailer got me going and really wanted to play so, picked up the PSP version for just £9.99 when I went to House of the Dead Overkill today...
MATtheHAT Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I think SF4 is an example of double standards. No innovation whatsoever. Amazingly you have some in the media calling it a revolution. : peace: Revolutionary releasing the same game for the 1000th time. The same could be said about Killzone........ I think SFIV is pushing its genre more then Killzone is pushing the FPS genre. In fact, Killzone's controls are a step back.
Deathjam Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Ah 500GB's of goodness. Congrats. Welcome to the download, install and forget crowd.
dwarf Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I don't want to spend money on a HDD that could buy me 2 games. I think with clever usage I won't have to upgrade.

But hidden installs will surprise and irritate. And then there is the convenience of having lovely music backed up on my ps3 to play during long burnout sessions
canand Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I can play DVDs but not blue ray movies or games.
canand Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Ah thats annoying. We've had someone else here who had similar issues i think. Had to resend. Do you know what is wong with it?
Daft Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I had the problem happen to me again. But it didn't arrive broken. Took another couple weeks to break again. The Blu Ray diode is broken. Call Sony and give them hell.

And then there is the convenience of having lovely music backed up on my ps3 to play during long burnout sessions This. I can just drive around Paradise City listening to The Killers or Kings of Leon all day. Gonna get myself a bigger HDD soon, 500Gb I think. Then I can put all my Music on my PS3, got around 40Gb of music on iTunes at the moment.
kyletherobot Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Just got my first LBP level uploaded. It's ok I think, although I probably wouldn't be that impressed if someone else made it. Anyway, hit me up and have a play please. Tell me what you think but most of all, heart me! My PSN ID is in my sig.

Nothing comes up or anything... I found that if I had two 500 GB external Hard drives plugged into my PC or my PS3, only one of them would be dectected. Had me really scared at the time. Hope that helps. Also, I think I preferred the previous sig. Really liked that one

I know lol one comment and the thread derails *insert evil laugh* Format your external drive to FAT32 format. Cheers will try that out. Has it been reformatted into NTFS or something. It may even have died? New sig is nice. I prefer real fire though. Like the burger king adverts. It could have died perhaps although was working fairly recently... burger king...hmmm....
