The Ultimate Christmas Movie?

Recommended Posts

Guys, what do you think is the best Christmas movie ever made? Which film do you like to put the Christmas tree up to, to fill you up with that warm, glowy Christmassy feeling?

I have to say The Muppets Christmas Carol is the best Christmas film ever. Michael Caine + Muppets = Awesome. Gremlins and The Santa Clause come in with a close second/third.

Wouldn't that be a th, not st?

I'd say Home Alone would be the movie to get you in the spirit. Nothing like watching a fat guy burn his hand on a door knob.

Home alones 1 & 2 are just the best.

I love The Grinch too.

I am not a fan of Miracle on 34th though, that fucking girl pisses me off in every movie she's in.

It just really confused me seeing st after a 4.

Although it's not a christmasy film, if I remember right, Flight of the Navigator would be a nice film to watch at Christmas.

The Grinch, watch it every year

And Mara Wilson is just too cute to be true, shes a bit on the ugly side now though. Poor girl.

I got a massive soft spot for The Muppets Christmas Carol

It's a great version of the classic tale and always provides a great christmasy feeling at the end and throughout

I agree.

Use to be on every Christmas Eve, last two years they've not shown it. Very disappointing.

I've got a massive hard spot for National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

"Surprised Clark?"

"Eddie, I couldn't be more surprised if I woke up tomorrow morning with my head sown to the carpet."
