Fields
By the way, you're wrong about the Serbia one. It's like this, with the white at the bottom:
conzer16
Holland and Yugoslavia (Serbia)? Almost but not quite as Fields pointed out. And I believe the Serbian flag has a crest on it also. Italy's is green, red and white while Ireland's is gold or orange (it varies), green and white. The white and green are in the same place on each, and the red and gold/orange take up the final third. The correct answer is Mali and Guinea. Correct. I would have accepted Mali and Guinea or the more obvious one Republic of Ireland and the Ivory Coast. The fish
On what date did Allied (British, US, Commonwealth, Polish, Free French etc, but NOT Soviet) troops land on mainland Europe to stay? By stay I mean not an SAS/Commando/OSS/SOE operation, but a full-scale invasion.

The fish
As in D-day? 6th June 1944. NO! Get out. That's D-day...6/6/1944. NO! Get out. Or do you mean the invasion of Italy on the 3rd September 1943? YES! It's the one everyone seems to forget. People don't seem to realise that Italy is part of Europe. In fact, on July 4th 1944, two days before D-Day, the allies took Rome, which, the last time I checked, was on mainland Europe. Your question, Zell.
