Posted April 2, 2007 The beginning of modern, swedish pop in an incredibly outrageous costume for it time. Full of hits (and sparkles on their uniforms). Not my kind of thing, but it's been hugely popular, so it's a nice, round (double-round) 8. Maybe you don't know these guys, but I'll give it a go anyway: dEUs If you don't know them, finjd some music from them ('seven days, seven weeks' is a good one - and don't forget 'little arithemtics'). Posted April 3, 2007 I cannot believe I get aggro from not one but two people for comparing 2 bands... I never stated a preference for or against cannibal corpse, however they are generally considered to be a good example of their genre so seemed like a reasonable band to compare too. And as for not getting the specific genre correct... wtf... It was 8 in the morning, on their crappy myspace page hearing the first (very very poor) 30 seconds of two tracks. I'm not a 'metal head', so I don't know exact genres, when TBH alot fo the differences between genres are based on lyrical content, which given the vocal style used, the majority listeners will hear no difference between the two. I listen to a lot of metal, and have seen a lot of metal acts live, but I also like to spread my wings a bit, and try some varietyso I am not, and mnever claimed to have been, an expert on obscure metal genres.
