    Because when the colour scheme changed it went from soothing midnight tones to some shitty generic WEBSITE ABOUT COMPUTER GAMES #243534 layout. Plus at the time people were crying out for something a little better than xsorbit, and got fobbed off with a redesign instead.

    If Super Mario Galaxy doesn't strike you as something fresh and wonderful then YOU HAVE NO SOUL. And please, Bioshock is an awesome GOTY contender but it doesn't do anything System Shock and Deus Ex haven't already done, and Blue Dragon is your typical bland JRPG. The entire industry is standing on the shoulders of the giants that precede it, this has never changed, and never will, Nintendo just get away with it better than most.

    Square have already violated Final Fantasy VII numerous times with their cold hard zombified rape member, to the point where the game has gone from above average RPG with fancy haired protagonists to something far more offensively bland and homoerotic. They just about managed to pull off the first enjoyable FF game in over a decade with number 12, don't encourage them.
