Yeah, but the trouble with that is that the games take way to much space to be downloaded (atleast for the average consumer) and they would need a pretty good emulator (and lots of argueing with SEGA) so I don't think they think it's worth it. But sure, more consoles = for the win!
-
The memory they are using is very very fast and thus rather expensive, so it could cost them very much. Then again, they might opt for some slower memory aswell.

These specs say, well, nothing. We don't know the big picture so to say, we don't have the full tech spec. Still, we can only really judge after the first in-game screenshots and movies.

Well, the legality of download the bios fille is a bit so so, I think some would claim that you'd have to download it of your PS1 otherwise it would be illegal.
-
If you have a Mac you can use Connectix PS1 emulator, it's very good and compatible (and deemed legal in court), but it's only for OS9. There should be good PS1 emulators today, search around.

Yeah, that's how I figured it too.

Yeah, it's a fun game, esp in multiplayer. Altough it get's a bit repetitive.

BBC was really on 'fire' when they came up with that title :P

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
gorrit replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Hah, Rev being Nintendos last console? Only if it goes straight down the crapper, which I doubt. Nintendo have earned loads on each and every one of there console (well, ok, I don't count Virtual Boy :P), both handheld and not. On this whole Link will die BS (oh, ok speculation ;P), I don't think so, the Zelda games are about the adventure that Link undertakes, it wouldn't fit in the Zelda style to let him die. It's like Bungie making a Halo game which only had cheesy techno music and a story more akin to Quake 3. It doesn't fit the style. -
Zelda, but that's mainly becouse I'm importing MP:H so I'll be gettin' it rather soon.
-
Wohoo! Battalion Wars was good, and it had great gameplay. A Rev edition could be awsome, esp with great multiplayer and the rev controller.
-
So, what chapters do you people like the best? I think the church chapters are very moody, and I love the WW1 levels mood. It feels so much... despair.

If Nintendo released a Zelda screen looking like that, I would think "WTF?!", but I would still be fairly confident that the end product would be great. When a unkown developer releases a screen looking like that, I just think "Looks (mainly) like shit", and interest in that game would drop. Nintendo has a track record of making great games, that's why. And please system_error, do remove that picture, it doesn't do you any good IMO. EDIT: This post doesn't reflect how I feel about ORB etc, except for that picture. It was mainly a reply to dabookerman.

Nintendork, didn't like Super Monkey Ball, did we? Great news, but not that suprising tho But I enjoyed Kuru Kuru Kururin very much, so I hope they come up with something that utilizes the Rev controller in a nice way.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
gorrit replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It doesn't fit in the gameplay and/or style of any of the other Zelda games that Link would permanently die (ie, the player can't continue playing since the hero has died thing). -
Shorty, on what site? I only get to EAs First Decade site whenever I try to go to a Westwood site.

I really liked the first one (but not "Wow! This is so cool!" as my thoughts was when I played the orginal Marathon series for the first time, or when I saw the 98 Halo video), but the second one was fun sure, but... meh. Bungie has made alot better games. Still, this smells rather fake, and even if it's not, so what? Or has Jason Jones left Bungie yet? I don't think so, others have tho (to make that Stubbs the Zombie game). <- If anyone has the right info, please correct me :P

Nice shoes, wanna fuck? I've actually used it once, and it sorta worked.

Imagine that someone draw 12 cartoons that offended you horribly, it offended everything you stood for and everything your near grandparents stood for. And they where shockfull of rasism. Wouldn't you get upset? And no, the danes haven't really apologised, not in a proper way. More like, well, sure, we're sorry, but not really. If any newspaper in the world would publish cartoons like that, but against jews, almost no one (in the western world) would think it was just a cartoon. Edit, no country/state/etc in the western world have ever had true freedom of speech, neither has it been wanted. Sometimes you need to put the foot down to stop people from getting raged and killing each others.

For me it's definitly the classics (for me), like Speedball 2, Street Fighter 2, SMarioW, Secret of Mana, Xenon 2, Marathon1+2+3, Flashback, Fallout, Shadowrun, Perfect Dark, Super Smash TV, Zelda(all) etc.

Well, afaik, the official statement just is "it's done when it's done"

FYI, IGN has added rumoured games in the past, so don't get too excited yet. And not always specifically written that they are rumoured.

I think you have to be much more specialized to survive in the handheld market, like for example support homebrew etc Edit: Not specialized, unique

I also thought it was a bit bad that the WW fight was so easy, mainly becouse it was so friggin cool! IMO, it topped OoT in coolness (even tho I like OoTs more, becouse it's a bit harder and longer, and I like what happens next (not story wise, gameplay wise, not to say I dislike the story or anything but eh...) )
