Nope. That's how dithering has always been since advent of 3D cards in 1997.
-
Yeah. Godfather had horrible dithering artifacts on the screenshots, but you couldn't see them when you actually played the game.
-
He is right. Framerate stutters badly in some places, but you must remember also, that the video is from alpha build. If I remember correctly, first Killer 7 videos featured also choppy framerate.

Yeah. Famitsu said that price is 4400 yens, which is standard price for budget titles there. Same sum has always turned to 30 dollars* when game is released in USA. Of course, I can't wait to see how local distributor is going to rip us off. * In reality, however, 4400 yens is about 36 dollars.

Xbox 360 gaming doesn't need to be expensive as (for example), region-free, fully english version of Gears of War can be bought for 35 euros from Play-Asia.

After Wii has passed X360 in sales (should happen before september with current pace), things will rapidly change. High profile games will levitate to platform that has sold most units, it is so simple as that (especially if developing game for leading platform is so much inexpensive). Developer loyalty is illusion that fades immediately when you must face reality of business world.

Yup, much worse actually. Like these:

Nintendo will force it out no matter what. Is that good thing can be debated.

Like RE4, it looks rather rough on screenshots. (From cubeversion)

Fucking brilliant!

Virtual Console - All you need to know
Teppo Holmqvist replied to Tellyn's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I know that it has fixed it for some people, for others it hasn't done anything. I'm just surprised that Nintendo hasn't advertised these updates at all. -
There is only one response for these news:

Virtual Console - All you need to know

They are attempt to fix component cable problems that some users had with the games. -
Yeah, that's true. But we will see how it turns. At least graphics department has done great job (notice that game doesn't use pre-rendered scenes at all).

It is nice to know that we have so many people who have already played this game. Do you guys work for Capcom's Q/A?
-
So what do you all think of the God Father?

Wii version. Controls itself are much better in Wii version and work extremely well. Basic idea behind the controls is that nunchuk controls your characters left hand, and wiimote controls your right hand. When you want to punch someone, you push nunchuk or wiimote forwards. Jabs, in the other hand, can be done by swinging either controller. Super-strong power attacks can be done by pressing d-pad down, and doing swing. You can also grab your target by pressing both Z and B at same time, and lifting both controllers up. When target is grabbed, you can strangle, bash target's head to wall / tables, and throw him thru windows / over the ledges. By pressing + you can go to free-aim mode, and use pointer to shoot with your weapon. What makes controls so terrific is how precise they are. Game has over 20 different motions that are done using wiimote / nunchuk combo, and everything can be executed flawlessly. It is so fun to grab innocent civilian, then do strangle motion and shake rumbling wiimote until he is dead. Motion-wise, this is easily most precise Wii game I have so far played. Only real problem with controls that I have had is how I accidentally press C-button instead of Z-button, when I want to lock target (C-button pulls gun from your pocket). Furthermore, Wii version has Don add-on disk, that goes long way to fix original game's main problem; repetitiveness. Disk adds new weapons, new floorplans, new cars, favors, missions, etc. that make experience better. For example, original game had only six different car models, and it got very annoying after short while. -
More like "don't turn this into another fucking flamefest. If you want complain about how Nintendo's online system works, use online system's official thread for it."

Comparision picture between Cube and Wii version: Of course, it is hard to judge from scans, but at least it isn't looking worse. And Dr. Salvador's bag face is little different:
-
Well, isn't it nice that we are finally going to see bullshots for Wii games, as Xbox 360 / PS3 games have got them from the beginning?
-
It could be probably easily done on Wii if they would cut unnecessary crap off. I mean, Capcom has boasted how they are going to render each hair invidually, do muscle simulation for faces, etc. All stuff that is only visible on cut-scenes, and most people wouldn't even notice them if someone wouldn't tell them.
-
Don't turn this into thread into "Oh my god, I must input few numbers and can't shout obscenities into mic" bitching. There is far more suitable threads for that.
-
Actually, it did very moderately well. It was on the TOP-10 for month in both USA and Europe.
-
Yeah, I though pretty much same.
-
Yeah, guy who was developing Tiger Woods said that they were forced to compromises with detection because EA wanted that people could play it sitting. Furthermore, 1:1 motions resulted in many mistake swings, as Wii took even smallest movement as an attempt to swing club.

Never judge game before impressions have come out and/or you have tested it yourself. Arguing about this thing is pretty pointless, as we will see pretty soon how it will pan out.
