This game makes me sad. All that potential and it's nothing but a skeleton of a game It was sacrificed so that Star Fox Zero could live, but I suppose that game deserved it more though.
-
Looking forward to getting stuck into this one shortly. Looks like tons of fun
-
Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it. You'll be glad to know that more from me will be appearing on the site within the hour or so, because there's a Yo-Kai Watch review from yours truly in bound for the main site as well very shortly (I knew you'd be interested in that one )

The only review that matters! http://www.n-europe.com/reviews/star-fox-zero Enjoy! : peace:

Now that NEShow Episode 4 is out, it's time for a friendly reminder that this contest is still running until Episode 5 comes out. So you still have roughly 2 weeks to break those records and give General Pepper the biggest heart attack of his life : peace:

Awesome! Please do so! (In fact, if you have any requests for Crazy Smash rules, I'm listening

For those that just can't wait for this game, I did a video preview of it as part of this week's N-Europe Show! You'll be reading my review of it tomorrow! : peace:

NEShow Special Episode 2 - Zelda | Zelda | Zelda
Dcubed replied to Ashley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
We CAN let you do that, Star Fox! Enjoy a brand new episode! Including a sneak peek preview of Star Fox Zero! -
Yup! Smash Bros Tourney 2 is almost here! It will be happening in the last week of this month (some time between the 25th and the 30th). Speaking of which... We need you to tell me what times and days work best for you all! We're looking at three brackets again as detailed below... For Glory will play out much as you'd expect. No items, Omega Stages only (plus Battlefield), no customisations, no custom movesets. Miis can be used, but must use the default 1111 moveset. In this bracket, due to us only managing to gather 4 players, these matches will have a winner decided by best out of 3 games. For Fun will of course be much more open and less restrictive than For Glory. Featuring all stages (including DLC stages), items on low and allowance for custom movesets. All stages are allowed, including DLC and custom stages. Items are on high, custom movesets are allowed and customisations are allowed as well. On top of that there will be an unannounced set of special rules in place that you will only see announced right before your match. Ok, so with that out of the way, just a few things I should note as well... You may change your character during the tourney at any time and do not have to stick to the one character all throughout. In terms of set up, I will be hosting all matches on my own Wii U across all three days. All players will need to add my NNID (Nuclear_Muffin) and just join me when their match is due to begin. I will lose all my stocks at the start of each match and then the battle begins. If your Mii's name is different from your username here on N-Europe, please let me know in advance so that I'll know who you are when you join. This cant happen without you, so tell me what time during the week works best for you and let me know which brackets you are interested in taking part in! (you can take part in just one, two or even all three! Let me know!) As a reminder of the insanity that took place last time, here's a little video that should jog your memory... Though you would hope that I'm better prepared this time around...

Oh nice! Out of nowhere
-
From puppets to canvas... Looks really cool. Will watch for sure!
-
Poor Mario Party DS. It doesn't deserve to have the entire point of its existence robbed from it (no multiplayer)
-
Yes, you can use either the Gamepad's Gyro controls (turn it on via the pause menu) or you can use a Wii Remote (with or without the Wii Wheel).
-
But of course, where's the fun in that? Everybody will know...
-
And the latest MK vid is up! Once again, @RedShell did a fantastic job and he got it done in record time to boot! : peace:
-
Go ahead and put me down for it. Barring anything cropping up last minute, I reckon I should be able to come along!
-
Kirby's 3D Challenge isn't sidescrolling mind you
-
Well, that's one way of having a Non-Angry Kirby on the box I suppose
-
I always watch all of them, yes even EA and Ubisoft's (the cringe and cheese alone always makes it worth it ) I reckon this one has the potential to be one of the more interesting E3 years in quite some time
-
Ha ha! That's brilliant! All those Miiverse posts have finally come true Shame we don't get to keep the shirts, they look great! #TeamPatrick all the way!

Yeah, Nintendo lost almost all of their Japanese support with the N64 (and this was an era where Japanese games ruled the roost). They had pretty much nobody other than Konami really; they at least did give it some solid support (remember that Castlevania 64 was considered the flagship title and SOTN was the el-cheapo 2D game; ok, it didn't turn out that way but that was the intention originally - also Hybrid Heaven wasn't meant to be a throwaway title; these were the days of developers making the intitial transition to 3D and the N64 was notoriously hard to develop for) They went a long way towards getting that back with the GCN. Ya such pretty much told them all to fuck off and Iwata did a fantastic job of mending broken bridges in that era... Though of course they would all go on to chase the HD Dream in Gen 7...
-
You, I and everyone else here knows that they sabotaged those games and every other one they released for Wii U. They both lacked key features of that year's version that were on every other platform and were by all accounts inferior to the PS360 versions.
-
Some interesting data there. Never thought that the total number of games would be so consistent across generations when you add in eShop titles! But it's obvious where the complaints about lack of 3rd party support come from and that's retail. Retail has been absolutely decimated over the last generation or so and now only the absolute biggest can survive; of which virtually none of them are on Nintendo's platforms. Unfortunately I'm inclined to agree... EA are just too powerful now. Problem though is that Nintendo seriously pissed them off at the start of this gen and getting back in EA's good books will be virtually impossible... Ubisoft are an interesting one to watch as they've started getting vultures circling them... They could conceivably fall if they fail to either repair the crumbling pillar that is Asscreed or find something else that can reliably take over (Watchdogs 2 has a lot to prove and the first game didn't fair to critical acclaim so it's an uphill battle in that regard, despite its previous commercial success...) Activision will support Nintendo given the right incentive, as will Warner Bros. Take Two and (especially Rockstar) are probably impossible though, even moreso than EA.

Heh, I got the Rachet email. I had better not end up with a copy of that on my doorstep instead of Star Fox!! Luckily they sent out another one apologising for the mixup, with the proper Star Fox First Print one sent to me, so it should be good (wish I got it from the Nintendo Store before it was too late...)
