The Wind Waker’s Randomiser is super cool because it completely transforms the game into a completely non-linear open world game! It takes away any barriers that prevent you from travelling around The Great Sea (with only The Hyrule Barrier remaining between you and Ganondorf); and the game is transformed into a giant scavenger hunt as a result. It’s great fun! Final Fantasy 4: Free Enterprise also does something similar. Highly recommended! Paper Mario TTYD’s Pit of 100 Trials Randomiser is also a brutal challenge that’s great fun for anyone that has played the original game to death

Me and @Glen-i have been playing through quite a few recently (on original hardware of course!). Such as the OOT Randomiser which we ploughed through last month, it was an absolute riot from start to finish! I’m a bit busy right now, so I’m gonna be a bit lazy and get @Glen-i to do the talking about it thing for me

I honestly never thought we’d ever see the day. I can’t believe that they’re actually making a sequel!! The first game flopped hard at retail (being released at the tail end of the 3DS’ life), but was secretly the best RPG on 3DS! Absolutely fantastic game! SO happy to see MHS get another chance! It’s like we’ve stumbled into some alternative universe where things are awesome instead of crap!

Looks amazing!! SO happy that they’ve (seemingly) removed all the casual bullshit from World. No fireflies, no damage numbers, no walking while using items (Riding with using items instead is a nice compromise) and FUCK AWESOME combat! LOVE the Spider-Man style climbing and grappling gameplay! It all just looks SO good!! So wonderful to see the return of proper Monster Hunter! Welcome Back

It looks WAY better than World. None of that stupid fireflies, damage numbers and casualised bullshit! Looks like a proper Monster Hunter game!

It's timed exclusive. Will be coming to Series X at a later date after the PS5 launch. BTW... Yeah, it shows! It might not really be an RPG anymore, but it may well just have some pretty great combat! I'm liking the look of this so far! Genuinely surprising and refreshing to see a proper medieval Final Fantasy again!

So much for the narrative of Sony "believing in generations" and not doing Cross Gen. Also they're now doing first party day & date releases on PC too (Demon's Souls). And potentially "other consoles" too? (Demon's Souls). I have no idea what they're doing here.
