I had the same problem just the other week. I used to always use my Freeloader to play the US Version of Pokemon Colosseum and download extra Jirachis from the pre order bonus disk. This was with my Black Gamecube I got at launch. When I wanted to use it the other day on my pearl white Cube, it wouldn't let the freeloader work -kept getting the message "No Valid Disc" I guess at some point Nintendo decided to tweak with the hardware to prevent the Freeloader working??

You really shouldn't complain NOA doesn't have ANY sort of reward stars based scheme and other european countries have to make do with Gameguides in PDF format as rewards for spending stars. Well if you think thats a rip off then I can go one better. In Birmingham Bullring at the moment then Selfridges stores is selling 500ml bottle of coke. However what makes these bottle special is that they are £5 each. They are glass bottles and one is Gold Coloured and the other silver coloured. Around the wrapper is World cup 06-thats right people another world cup cash in at Self ridge prices. I have to admit they do look cool.....
