Last.fm going subscription of £3 a month for mobile devices. Not happy about this. First spotify now last.fm. Due to being an early user of last.fm they have given me 3 months free. I'm sure everyone else has got that though.

I don't really know what accent I have. Coming from South East London, I guess it's slightly geezer sounding but not quite cockney. Perhaps a bit common like? I spend a lot of time in Northern Ireland and I love certain accents over there. Although sometimes I have trouble understanding the lovely people. I don't really dislike any accents to be honest. Half my family are from Manchester and I do have a soft spot for that accent. "Hiya" and all that.

Would be amazing if they built that. A year and a half to build? Can it be done?

Happy with the draw against spurs. Tough place to go these days. Sending off was laughable but even with 11 men I think it still would have been a draw. Too many of them perhaps so far this season ffor United but it's a strange one the league this year. 2 games in hand still which is good. Need to make the one against Blackpool count.

Just got the HTC Desire myself. Highly recommend. It's like my favourite thing EVER at the moment.

Yeah updated the official app. Not using the sense anymore. The official app doesn't let you do the sync on my desire, only the sense version does. Been following the new update on the Android forums and people having loads of problems with it. No push notifications, no sync etc etc

House Party again this year. Not going to get as drunk as last year as new years day ended up being a write off. Bed ridden till like 8pm with drink induced illness like I was 15. Managed to watch like 4 films though which was good. House Parties are so much better than going out somewhere which will be packed, expensive, full of idiots and a mare to get home from.

Mine hasn't. As soon as I removed the facebook HTC sense it took away all sync'd contacts and I can't see any other way to do it without having the sense installed which for me = chat notification hell.

umm signed in through HTC Sense Facebook... I guess thats what it could be. EDIT: yup that was it. Removed the account and just used the app and all is well. I did like the way it linked all my contacts together though and gave me phone numbers and email addresses I never had but meh it was annoying receiving loads of chat thingys.

Ok battery life has improved immensely. Thanks for the tips. Got another query. Facebook has me signed in constantly which has led to people saying "oh you're always online" doesn't bother me as such but I'm constantly getting facebook chat messages!! Aside from just logging out from the app is there anything else I can do? I tried hitting menu in the chat screen and selecting "appear offline" but that doesn't seem to work.

Haha true! It lasted about 16 hours today actually and I used it quite a bit. I think draining it dead and charging it switched off worked wonders on it last night. Maybe. Really loving the phone though. So happy with it and glad I didn't go down the iPhone route.

I'll have a play about with some of the settings. I just want it to last the day really, 24hours at most so I only have to charge it once at night and don't have to worry about the battery life throughout the day and end up not actually using the phone. I heard after a few charges the battery tend to sort itself out a bit anyway... not sure if that is true or not.

Ok so the battery life isn't too great. Lasted about 14 hours. I was playing with it a bit but not too much. Any tips?? Wifi off, GPS off and got myself an app killer etc
