Went to the Elite League playoff game last night for the first leg of Belfast vs Coventry. It was a tense game. Ended 2-2. Belfast should have won by a mile though. 38 shots to 17 or something. Credit to Coventry. Biggest crowd at the arena since 2002 I hear which is good news for the sport. 2nd leg was tonight in Coventry and it ended 1-1 with no scorer in overtime. The shootout was won by Belfast with Coventry missing 3 of their pens. Now on to Nottingham and the semi finals against Cardiff!

Yeah it's the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. Pretty big. Think it can hold around 7,000 - 8,000 for the Hockey. Not really ever sold out, think I've only been to a couple this season that have been. The cup final was and I'm sure the playoff game will be. Great night there all round, very american with subway cannon and all sorts during the breaks. Went to the Challenge Cup final on Wednesday. Belfast lost to Nottingham on agg. Was gutting. 3-1 down after the first leg, they started brightly and went 2-0 up with 2 cracking goals in the first period. Then in the second Nottingham scored the scrappiest Ice Hockey goal I have ever seen. Was terrible bouncing round the goal area. Belfast couldn't then get that extra goal and lost 4-3 on agg. Then this weekend the last in the Elite League season we go to Nottingam and smash them 6-2!!! dammit. Last games today, Looks like Belfast will be 3rd meaning a game against Coventry in the playoffs. Good day of football. West Ham's win put me in a good mood for the cup final. Always love seeing Liverpool lose. Really enjoyed the final, was hoping for it to go all the way to penalties. A neutral always loves a shootout! Awful mix up for the winner, got to feel for the players. Think both teams done enough to win the game really but I'm of course happy that Birmingham beat Woolwich in the end. England need to start building the team around wilshere. He is already an amazing talent. Important couple of weeks coming up for United now. Could make or break our season.

Did you not read the rest of my sentence?? I agree both were shocking. In previous reserve matches I've seen plus the odd league appearence for Obertan, both look like they have the potential to be good wingers. I think they blew their chances with that game though.

Well that wasn't a walk over. Crawley can hold their heads high. Really deserved something. Obertan and Bebe, both got lots of potential but were absolutely shocking tonight. Ah well we are through. Bring on the next round.

Looking forward to todays match. Be interesting to see what team Fergie puts out. I think we may see some big names. Haven't played a game since last Saturday so will want to give some a run out but will have one eye on champs league in the week. Would like to see Hernandez and Owen start up front. I think most of our young strikers are on loan so it could happen.

Went to the double header this weekend in Belfast where the Giants beat Coventry Blaze twice. 5-2 and 4-1. Good weekend for Belfast, some great goals and a couple of good fights

It recommends music to you that you may like from learning from your own collection. I've found many a new band through last.fm. Pretty much the same as a pc version really. You can select a band and play their radio which will play songs from similar bands. I really love that idea, I can't see why you wouldn't? Find some good new music. But yes as for paying for it goes, there is no point. You may aswell pay for spotify. That's why I'm annoyed as I really do like last.fm.
