I've played about 4hrs since last night, so far it's been very enjoyable. I'll admit that there's still this 'early-tutorial' feeling that's running through and a lot of text. There has been some good humour too, not much, but it's there. Perhaps they wanted to ease some series newcomers into this game as best as they could, so they dedicated a lot of the early gameplay towards towards them? All I know is that this is a long game and hopefully it will pick up later on. Most of the reviews have been very positive too.

That actually happened to me. I didn't play it too much, but I played about 30 hours in a week and totally burnt myself out. for the next month or so after that my 3DS play time was pretty bad. I'm talking around 10 hours in the entire month. Good news is that I'm back now and enjoying it again. I'm taking it easier now.
