Killer Instinct should not be in the top 10 and SSMB should be way lower.

Soul Calibur should be higher. It is better than Tekken no doubt. Third Strike deserves No 1 spot as it is a thing of beauty. the balance is superb and it plays so sweet. Not sure about Marvel vs Capcom at No 2. great game and love playing it but it can be cheap if you pick certain characters. I cannot believe there is not one SNK fighter in the top 10. KOF 98/99 are superb games. Fatal Fury: Mark of Wolves is outstanding and deserves more respect. SSMB is strange for me. I just don't like it like everyone else does. I have given it nuff game time but I just don't find it that great.

no doubt they need a bigger audience but I get the feeling that the core gamer is ignoring the Wii which isnt good..

But which people already purchased Wii's. Casual or Core gamers? We do not know the Wii Hardware demographics.

Japanese Gamers still want RPG's. FFIII and Dragon Quest IV sales on the DS prove this. these games are just ports but have sold very well.

Wii sales slowed down about 3 months ago. why I don't know. Maybe it was lack of software or Wii just losing interest in Japan. SMG and Resident Evil: UC didnt really do anything for Wii Hardware even though both have had good sales.

Like I said before, there is no shortage in Japan. also forget about the PS3 price drop as Wii sales have been slowing down for weeks now. It was predicted SMG would give Wii Hardware a boost but it never happened.

I hope PES2008 sales are lower than Konami expect. maybe they will stop with the lazy efforts every year. Dragon Quest IV sales are superb for a port. Damn Dragon Quest is gonna be huge on the DS. Sonic & Mario is gonna bomb!!

None of us know how Nintendo market the Wii in Japan but it does seem that the core gamer is not convinced by the Wii yet. maybe it is down to the Gamecube being a let down. I dunno but I do find it strange! Gamecube must of had more core gamers owning the machine over the Wii. I worry for third party games like No More Heroes. I honestly think that the game will bomb in Japan no matter how good the reviews are. Wii Fit will be mental and sales will be crazy but seriously do you want the Wii to be just a casual gamers machine in Japan. Wii-Fit is probably the only software that can stop the Wii Sales slump before Smash Bros is released. Again though core gamers will still be shunning the hardware. Why are third parties gonna bother releasing more core games on the Wii when they do not shift units. Now you can see why Square-Enix decided to release Dragon Quest on the DS. People on here wanted it on the Wii but I am actually happy they picked the DS instead. Nintendo Japan got the core and casual gamers buying DS machines. looks like they failed with the Wii so far. What would be interesting is if Nintendo released a new 3-D mario game on the DS. I pretty sure over the first 4 weeks it would beat SMG sales. With Dragon Quest IV being released this week (360,000) first day sales which is a port remember you can expect SMG sales to be lower again next week. That Sonic & Mario Olympics games only sold 15,000 first day so looks like it could bomb.

To be honest Dunga only changed things as Dinho and Kaka were not avaliable for copa america. Watch the side now and u see they are back to there good old ways (Brazil playing negative with 2 defensive midfielders is disgraceful). Dinho, Kaka, Robinho all in the same side. Full backs bombing forward and a side which is open expansive and vunrable at the back. But hey thats what we love about Brazil!!

Ramar I was telling everyone at work Croatia were quality and england were gonna find it tough but people just don't understand. just because they never heard of croatia's players they think england are better. The public and media have to start being honest and accept the players are technically poor/average. You can see why Wenger buys non english players. Arsenal could never play the way they do with an english team. Where is the flair in the england side. at least in the 80's/90's you had Waddle, Barnes and Mcmanaman. The thing is that England have been average for decades. does not matter who the manager is as the players are not good enough. They are good enough to qualify but they will never win a major tournament.

Please croatia just keep the ball and pass it. That goal came from great posession and just simple passing. Look at the difference between the sides. Croatia play one two's, triangles etc while england are playing route one long ball football up to the big man up front. Pathetic!!!

Why do managers try this rubbish when they say 4-3-3 with the ball, 4-5-1 without the ball. 4-3-3 never involves playing 5 in midfield. watch barca or the dutch and u see a real 4-3-3. the 2 wide front men aint expected to track back. This was a 4-5-1 with the aim to defend and play not to get beaten. How can u play one up front with crouch who has no pace. mclaren bottled it and the fact he refused to change the system at 2-0 down and waited to half time tells u all u need to know. Still people need to realise it aint all the managers fault. Until things are changed at grass roots things will always be the same as technically the players aint good enough.

43,000 for the last week in Japan so now only 378,000. shame SMG has not taken off in Japan like it has in the US.

May get the Japanese Wii version but why no DS game this year? I thought the DS game was better than the Wii version no doubt! playing with Stylus felt much better than using Wii controls.

Yukes went downhill years ago mate. last good wrestling game they made was Toukon Retsuden on the PSone and Dreamcast. Ever since they started developing WWE games they have got worse. I have found every Smackdown game to be average due to the dumb A.I. Wrestle Kingdom I and II were really poor also. SVR needs a new engine, it is still using alot of the animations from the PS2 games.

I love the pro-wrestling angle. The moves look sweet! Developers must be big Puroresu fans. wonder if the guys working on this also worked on the King of coliseum or Fire Pro Wrestling games. cancelled my wii fit pre order as I would rather get this next month.

I wouldnt say it is just a handheld issue as Wii has big selling games. problem is they are the more casual games. Mario Party 8 sold huge numbers on Wii. You would of thought this would of carried over for Mario Galaxy. Mario is Nintendo leading mascot so I do think it is a problem. like I have said before I find it worrying that a superb game like SMG is not shifting them huge numbers. I really don't know what kind of image the Wii has in Japan!! Hardware sales are gonna be really interesting considering the PS3 price drop. I expected SMG to help fight of the PS3 this winter. Looks like Wii Fit will do that instead.
