@ AeroScap a) mmmkay b) I know what the word means. Why would they use this word? If it was a camera using which you superimposed your face onto a character then it would not be called a caricature. A caricature is purposefully inaccurate so why would you use a device which gives you a high fidelity representation of yourself? I understand what you mean about the body to head ratio but that is there without you adding a face. The face itself is not a caricature if you take it with a camera. It's misleading to use the term and combine it with images such as this:

Bit harsh but I see what you mean. I actually don't rate his complaint against the controls for Metroid. It's a FP adventure not a shooter, so why does it have to work just like a FPS? You can't do a 180 in mid air anyway, so why should you be able to in Metroid?

Other than the potential for brilliant graphics, 2 franchises and the fact that it's a BluRay player (which is not necessarily a good thing) I just don't see anything that is convincing me to think about buying it and that's before thinking about the price.

As everyone is saying, too good to be true. They are telling us what they want us to hear. Also this doesn't rub well with the interview details about the charicature profile. Why would it be a charicature if it has a camera? To me the possibilities of there being a camera will be 0.

Why not? SSB:Brawl is an early Wii game so I'd say that this is the best case for comparison. I wouldn't say that Jungle beat is a good example of great graphics, more like TP when Link is running through the woods with his lantern, with all lose lovely lighting effects. But anyway, what's the point in measuring two consoles at different stages of their lifetime? What can you tell from it?

Must be quite hard for ATI to go up there and be forced to compare two of their own products. They need to maintain the integrity of both.

QFT That's why many people's perceptions of MP3 are off I think. Most Impressive: Nintendo achieving their goal and the Wii getting the attention it deserves. Least Impressive: Nothing really, just would have liked the games to be a bit more ready for E3. I would pick up all the games in the end, although some definitely second hand. Must admit though Necro-Nasia looks pretty ummmm.. yeah just ummm. Can't they have more than 2 sound files for those bugs?

Nintendogs has reached out to SO many female gamers and it didn't even have a fucking human character in it! And plus she is already playing games so she's content. Current gen, I was initially put off buying a PS2 because of the attitude of Sony but later that became overriden by the selection of great games available. Still haven't got one yet though as I don't have enough cash. Fuck all chance I'm gonna get a PS3. So the BluRay can now go into hyper space eh? Harrison, there's a black hole with your name on it.
