I lost count of the number of times I've shot Doak in the head.

I love this, there's so many subtle things like a single cookie from Yoshi's cookie or Ms.Pacman and Pacman JR standing right at the back together. Notice the Triforce on the base of R.O.B too?
-
That is incredibly awesome.

I've been playing street fighter Alpha anthology for the PS2. Its brilliant: It has Alpha 1, Alpha 2, Alpha 2 gold, Alpha 3 and pocket fighter. All great apart from Street fighter alpha 3 being BASTARD HARD and M.Bison having a special move that wipes out 3 quarters of your life bar and when you lose agaisnt the teleporting cheap arsehole, you get no continues and the game ends.

There's loads of new shots of Shenmue online and a trailer up (I havnt seen it yet, you need a gamespy account) HOWEVER apperently the trailer is causing a bit of a stir because at the end there's shots of Ren, Wong and Shenhua. People think it's some sort of teaser hint of the end opf Shenmue 3. The top story: http://shenmue.planets.gamespy.com/

I know you mentioned its just £900 but that link says this info came from " A developer in a big coastal American city" So they won't care what it is in £.

I can't imaging the other studios being happy that something they had to spend $2000 on was given for free to another studio.

No multiplayer sadly.

Mario 2 was never really mario at all
Helmsly replied to DiemetriX's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Mario bros 2 never did feel quite the same as the first or number 3, I remember finding this out a couple of years after the game came out. What was up with the ending though: -
I don't think it'd be worth putting it out on the PS3 since the PS3 can play PS2 games, it'd only benefit from the tilt controller really however a Wii version would be great. I've read a few times that when you use a gun is PSU, you can use a first person perspective, so the Wii controller would be perfect for that and of course sword slashing like the producer said. BTW here's a link to a Japanese comercial for PSU.: http://www.jeux-france.com/downloads6224_win1_pub-phantasy-star-universe.html I think that adverts a bit crap.

I also can't wait for this. Apprently your mags (the're called partner machinery this time) eventually turn into full characters that you can take into battle to help you out. That little robot thing on the left hand picture should turn into thething standing on the right. Also I thought this was cool, of all the different things you can put in your room, theres a Sonic doll figure: You can also have your own shop selling weapons that you found. You don't have to be there to sell stuff too, so you could go to your shop to see such and such weapon has been sold.

N64 - Adaptoid (USB adapter for N64 controllers)
Helmsly replied to Adrian DX's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I can't see that thing being worth $70 maybe its just not made anymore. It might be because the N64 pad is so great for FPS.I've been trying to get the USB gamecube controller thing like that because I like the GC's pad so much. -
Probably Super Mario world because it hasnt aged at all, I can still put that game in today and play though it just like the day I got the game. I think its the best of all the 2D Mario games.

Marsbar adverts in the late 80's Sure it does.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Helmsly replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I would of thought we would start to see some more about this game by now. Still, I can't wait for it. -

InvaderElmo already posted this in the Crash on Wii thread, but they talk about a couple of other Wii related things at IGN: http://wii.ign.com/articles/720/720002p1.html - There will be new Wii games shown at the Leipzig Games Convention - 20-30 Virtual Console games for system launch - Excite Truck should be a launch title The 30 games availible at launch seems pretty good to me I just hope Nintendo release games at a regular pace.

In a game where you use a gun (like red steel) the sound of the gun when you fire would come from the speaker but whatever it hits makes a noise on your TV. Also noises like when you reload or if shells drop out the gun (say if your using a Revolver) should come from the speaker too.

Your thinking about the coco pop straw things (Not sure what their like). The Neste straws are made of plastic.
-
We brought some a couple of months ago, I'm only starting to see the adverts for them now. Not very good to be honest. Mainly because the chocolate doesn’t have enough time to dissolve properly when you suck through the straw normally. Only works if you are drinking warm milk or drink very very slowly otherwise it tastes like milk with about 2 granules of Nestle in it.
