Pokemafia : Trust No One - Sign Ups Thread
The Peeps replied to ReZourceman's topic in General Chit Chat
I have no issues with 3 mafias running. The marvel mafia will end soon anyway. I hope the recent bout of inactivity will end with these new games starting up -
I'm not sure why people think that if media stuff was made into a subforum, gen chit chat would suddenly get more varied posts in their place. What's stopping those posts being made now? Nothing. Yes we'll have more variation in the posts but we won't have more threads being made in place of those tv/music/comic threads. How often do we see a new original thread? One a day maybe, if that. All of the traffic will be in the new subforum which will hold the majority of threads from general that people are posting in now. But hey I could be wrong. Maybe it is worth a try. As others have said, it's reversible.

DO EEET [automergeness preventation]

haha I remember that vid. I think it was The3rdChildren that did it though, not Dabookerman? I was still Ninja Mullet back then : peace: Actually no, I think it's Odwin

I'm against for the same reasons listed by various others above. I think it would take too much away from general chit chat and probably wouldn't be that successful a sub-forum anyway.

Wasn't really about much yesterday, sorry. Looks like this game has pretty much ended though. vote: gmac for something to do

Forget about it, have a few drinks. Then we'll be legless.

So... how do you know which toilets to go in?

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (XBLA, PSN, WiiWare)
The Peeps replied to Happenstance's topic in Other Consoles
Just trying to get all the chaos emeralds now, been trying for 30 mins and I already have 5. 2 more to go, hopefully it will take no longer than 20 minutes. Depends how many times I have to retry either of them. I agree that Sonic feels really sluggish at times. The movement speed from a standing start is ridiculously slow. Sometimes you need to stand still if you're on a moving platform or whatever and it just takes all momentum out of the game. One other thing that's annoying me is every time I finish a stage it takes me straight to the final boss afterwards and I have to keep taking myself back to the stage select screen. I don't understand why they think I'd want to go straight to the final boss after splash hill zone act 1. Maybe it only does it after you finish a special stage though? Because that's all I've been doing. Still love it though, I think it's just as good as any of the original Megadrive Sonics. -
What order would you show your kids the Stars Wars saga in?
The Peeps replied to flameboy's topic in General Chit Chat
4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6 is a good idea but I'll definitely show the original trilogy first and then the earlier ones. I don't think the prequels are bad films but they're definitely not a patch on the original 3. There's just something missing from them, you don't get the same feeling watching them as you do from watching the originals. -
I don't need anything now, just downloaded Mew

I came in here for something but I don't remember what...

I've been looking back too and I find it strange that you'd choose to use Paj being among the first to vote for Heroicjanitor as grounds for suspicion, Jonnas. After looking back, YOU were the very first person to vote for him. You've been cleared by Maddog though as you say. Anyway, with no voting allowed I don't see much use in accusing anyone as there's nothing we can actually do except make ourselves into targets.
-
Congratulations and what kind of crazy person doesn't love penguins?!

Your power was really cool Sméagol, it's a shame you didn't share it with people but it would've made you a big target for the mafia whose job it is to lie and subvert in the day phases. The write-ups definitely confused everyone for at least the first 2 nights but then we started to piece together things that were consistent and once we'd worked out everyone's colour it was obviously impossible for the mafia to kill without being known. One problem for the mafia I guess was that they kept killing members of the opposing mafia off. This probably made their numbers dwindle too quickly for them to be an effective team. I really enjoyed this game but by the end it was definitely too easy for the town. I think some of the roles were really good though and definitely the ability to change the write-ups confused most of us for a while.

I work at a pub in Wootton Bassett and earlier this year there was this massive motorbike ride-through to show support for Help For Heroes I think. There were like 3000 bikers or something registered for it [real-time edit: looked it up and there were 15,000 actually]. All day we had bikers going past and coming into the pub for lunch but at about 4pm there was an accident right at the entrance to the car park. One of the bikers was badly hurt; he was laid down in the middle of the entrance and wasn't moving. He was conscious I think but it must've been a spine or neck injury or something because they didn't just move him onto an ambulance. As they (him, paramedics, police) were blocking the entrance to the pub no one could get in or out so me and my friend had to go out and direct customers to park up on the grass outside. After about an hour, maybe 2, they ended up lifting him out by helicopter. Was pretty exciting I guess. Not sure what happened to the biker, I don't think he died but we didn't hear anything about it. I hope he was ok anyway, it must have been quite a serious accident. If Rummy is town then getting rid of him would make sense for the mafia as he has a double vote... that's the only reasoning for suspecting Jonnas at the moment. But I remember Jonnas was the first to go for Tellyn after protecting him the night he killed Cube so I doubt he's mafia. He's also been among the first to vote for suspected/definite mafia peoples so I really doubt he's mafia. Also, I hadn't noticed Rummy doesn't show up the night Diageo was killed (without the killer's colour being mentioned) and Dyson's power was to remove people from the write-up wasn't it? He definitely said something about it I'm sure. Vote: Rummy

Posting from work. Withdraw vote please.

Zell and Diageo are protectors I think? I'm guessing at least one was roleblocked. Diageo Eenuh gmac jayseven Jonnas Rummy Paj Meen Ah The Peeps Zell 9 players left so the majority is 5. Vote: Jayseven Not had anything out of Jayseven have we? Going by the theory that the mafia will be laying low I'd say the remaining mafia could consist of at least jayseven, gmac and zell. Obviously this could be incredibly wrong though Not sure if I'll have a lot of time to get on tonight and tomorrow so that's why I'm voting earlier than I usually would.

I'm 22 and I get ID'd if I go out into town or sometimes if I'm clean shaven I'll get ID'd if I buy alcohol. Otherwise it doesn't really happen for me.

Yeah if you can remember the apartment then maybe pay her a visit if you're still concerned. I think you did a great job in helping her out. If she does have some kind of illness then she'll undoubtedly have someone taking care of her.
-
Bit hostile don't you think? I'd prefer not to be called scum thanks. As for contrived and ignorant, I hardly think that being suspicious of someone using their first post of the day to start a vote with absolutely no reasoning is something to attack at all. Maybe you should be more careful with your own posts if you don't want to be seen as scum yourself.

When is it ok to start thinking about christmas?
The Peeps replied to Rummy's topic in General Chit Chat
We've had a christmas tree decoration (a small one on a table) up at work since August. However, I work at a pub and we need people to book for Christmas day and stuff (already nearly full) so I suppose it makes sense from a business point of view. Personally I don't think about Christmas until after Halloween. I usually start properly thinking about what presents to get people mid-novemberish.
