Im beginning to worry about Brawl, these Final Smash moves sound worryingly like the power shots from Mario Power Tennis and it seems like every map has some random instant kill things If they ruin the game with gimmickry i won't be happy The map editor might help though, especially if theres an option to turn off Final Smash. Classic Melee and SB1 action ftw!

Good article. But one question that always bothers me: Why are Nintendo fans so quick to declare themselves "winners" of this generation when the console fails to cater for the majority of the market?

What rig have you got? Sounds like it runs better on my Athlon BE-2300, 2GB RAM and x1950XTX! I can run High at playable frame rates, will check numbers in a bit If you're running an 8800GTS you should be getting better performance than me, especially given my CPU is a pile of shit (1.9GHz 45nm Athlon clocked to 2.5GHz). You got a crappy HDD or crappy RAM?

She didn't get banned. She asked Jordan to delete her account and he did

Oh, oops. A few reviews stated you couldn't, maybe it was a firmware update or some such thing (or the reviewers are retards)

Fall in to water from any height and you will survive Keep walking in a straight line and eventually you hit an invisible wall Enemies attack you one at a time You walk in to a shop and talk to a shop keeper, he shows you loads of stock. Look around his shop and none of it seems to be there.

a bit off topic but does any one know where to buy a Ghost Squad IC Card? Im fed up of having to restart the game every time i go in to the arcade Got the top score on this in my local mega bowl, bloody hard game too. An IC card would let me get the score even higher and give me permanent access to the shotgun

It won't play any standard definition DVD. Or if you meant imported HD-DVD then yes, it will.

It's double what XP shipped in the same time frame after launch. Sure the market has expanded since XP launched but it hasn't doubled in size.

Those specs are pretty much the best you can get in a laptop, of course it's going to perform blindingly. I'd expect any laptop of those specs to perform pretty much the same, unless Apple are going round overclocking the things (which i seriously doubt, they'd loose the battery life claims). PC World posted that article and worded it that way for one reason, piss easy hits from Mac fans On another note, Vista has hit 88 Million copies shipped. Failure? Yeah, course...

Just noticed this myself, was configuring a PC on 3XS (Scan's system builder) and the 8800GT came up as an option. I though "nah, that can't be right" but: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Products.ASP?CatID=15&FilterCategories=512&Thumbnails=yes Oddly enough the GTS is still more expensive... Interestingly these are the 512MB models, the 256MB ones will be even less! P.S. Just been playing the Crysis demo, my machine can handle it on high! Only just though, there is the occasional stutter. It looks bloody gorgeous! Can't go any higher without DX10 sadly

Will probably pick this up from town on Friday, still got a £10 gamestation credit note so can't really justify buying off the net (unless its £40 everywhere in town, then i'll regret it)
-
holy. shit. $200? Seriously? Thats crazy! I wonder how cheap the 8800GTS is away to get? Could be a nice xmas present to myself Could this really be released at £150 with the GTS dropping to £100?

they're usually very efficient, most people seem to get games from them before release

Team Fortress 2 needs voice, but hardly anyone uses the in-game voice. The problem with PC is players are split between in-game, ventrillo and teamspeak. Sure, 3 quarters of people who run Steam have mics but i rarely hear anyone speak. It's not helpful when a Spy is ransacking all of my buildings or you know where the bag carrier is etc. The difference with Live is that nearly everyone has a mic and is using it on the same service, hence better communication. Im sure things will improve on PC though, all i need to do is find a good server, stick to it and find out what voice service they use

Ive got the urge to go play some Dawn of War now, shame i sold it

PS3 Price Cut... and Wii still sells more
McPhee replied to Zechs Merquise's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It's been 2 years since PGR3, it was a 360 launch game -
Hardly anyone uses mics in public games. Shame really

Yeah, PC is the rightful home of Half Life. Always has been, the games are built for PC then ported. I'd be interested to see what TF2 is like on Live though, the lack of headsets on PC does take away from the experience a bit (although bigger team size and better controls make up for this). But Bioshock is only a good package if you like single player FPS, whereas Halo appeals to the multiplayer and single player crowds. Regardless of whether or not the quality is better there is a lot wider appeal in Halo and a lot more to do in the game therefore how can it not be a better package?

Total Annihilation - As posted above Warzone 2100 - My favourite RTS ever, was pure class (and the first i played). Completely customisable tanks, epic base structures and the best patch EVER!!! (It added new single player missions, multiplayer maps and doubled the size of the tech tree! FOR FREE!) Warhammer: Dawn Of War - Best RTS of the last few years, although it is more limited in scope than TA and WZ Or, if you are after something a bit grander in scale (but not completely Real-Time) try the Total War series

That looks like a bloody good deal to me, will prob drop an order for a pair myself. Same price as the ones i usually buy, but i know from they're rep that they are better

Registrations will be back fairly soon.
