You're joking, right? They feel awesome, have you tried the type twelve...? This is the thing I thought was missing from all the last gen FPS' like TS or Red Faction, satisfying weapons, and there are plenty of em in Red Steel... Also, does anyone else feel that the SCAR is a bit of a n00b gun in multiplayer?

Oh fair enough...but I guess I'm more akin to playing it like Stocka described. Anyway, I guess the reason for that is I'm so anal about it that I refuse to refer to a guide or ask for help...so when I get stuck I just wander around doing the countless amount of things available just to stall...but yeah, I'm 25 hours in exactly at this moment, and I'm trying and failing to catch a reekfish...slow eh? . As to your big ass queen bug queries...it's so frickin simple! I got it first time...oooooh yeaaah...I also managed to do the grove guardians the first time around, I kinda like those little puzzles that you have to sit and think about for a while...like when you're playing as Ashley in Resi 4, there was a little puzzle you had to do to open a door, and my friend took about an hour trying to do it, but all you had to do is 6 or 7 little movements and it's solved...quite well designes, the guardians (infact the whole game), I have to say... Sand dungeon boss was wierd though, cause it required more of a distant approach...it was such a cool boss that I wanted to beat it up close... Hehe, no way, OoT wasn't as good as either WW or Lttp, and it definately isn't as good as this...in my opinion.

I thought come clarity was great. Reroute to Remain had about 2 good songs on it...Trigger, Metaphor and Soundtrack only had one half decent one, My Sweet Shadow. CC is an enormous improvement, every song on that album is great, but it's still not up to their old standard, like on Whoracle or The Jester Race/ Black Ash Inheritance...

SNES was the hardcore gamers' console of choice. Megadrive consisted largely of easy, shallow games although it did have it's high points. Thats just my opinion though, nothing is ever going to beat the SNES, for me it's the best console ever...but we'll just wait and see if Wii makes any impact upon it's throne...

What is up with you guys finishing it so quickly?! I get sick of it if I play it for that long at a stretch...so I just go outside and wander around the field...the...I guess thats why I've clocked up so much time...everytime I see a boulder I go OMFG! have to blow it up, and I'm trying to find some side quests...I don't get why you would want to complete it that quickly...cherish the moments

So you're saying you like them because they're shit at what they do? I don't care what they "stand for" and whatever artistic message they may be touting, all I care about is if the music is a pleasure to listen to and think about, and it's not.

Energy, randomness and chaos? Look no further than Nirvana, Foo Fighters etc, not towards shit, pretentious indie. Libertines are so musically unsound, that I wouldn't call it music, there's no coherent melody, just pretentious pseudo art noise. I don't like the ramones, it's exactly the same song a thousand times over and the sex pistols are alright sometimes, but you're missing the point of what I'm saying, still, I won't go on to emphasise this here, because that's not the point of the thread.

Battery life is fine, although I managed to get through 2 pairs in 4 days, I doubt I'll be playing Wii at this rate a couple of years down the line.

I'm not into "fantasy metal" as you call it, and I'm not even a big fan of Dragonforce, even though they do put on an awesome live show. Still, all I've ever seen you do is judge a band on their name, without giving any real reason for it. Aaany who, the Libertines suck for very many reasons, first being their woeful inability to actually play their instruments, the second being their lack of a sense of how to construct a proper song. Thirdly being the fact that they can't string together a decent melody for shit, and there you have it; A band for simpletons, consisting of simpletons. Anyway, the topic at hand; er...I think it's all already been said tbh.

Oh it doesn't tally them up by itself, but for example, my friend was over today, and all we did was play red steel for about 5 hours, only in multiplayer, so I checked the "today" mail and tallied up all the counts where I know I've only played multiplayer. But yeah, it'd be really nice to have a Timesplitters-esque display which tells you how long you've played each mode.

I think it's great the way some people think they can sponge off the general public's stupidity. It's an art in itself, one that countless bands (The Libertines and Franz Ferdinand come to mind immediately) have made a living on.

In accordance with Jasper's viewpoint, yeah, I think that is the case sometimes, games like Final Fantasy 7 or LttP require your imagination to run away with them, but something like Far Cry requires good graphics for the same level of immersion, because it doesn't have a great story or endearing characters going for it.

I opened up my second one today...man DKC is the best thing ever on 2 player team...

My tally counts up 32 hours of multiplayer...fuck...thats pretty epic. Anyway, this happens sometimes, just do what Jordan said, it always fixes things.
