  1. true although I have whacked myself in the eyes with the wrist strap a few times.
  2. well looking at that pic I won't be getting one, havn't had a third party one for ages...just usually crap think I'll leave it that way.
  3. well i've now completed it and it still says just 62.23% so still a long way to go. and on the other topic I do not think you can compare 2D Zelda's in light of the 3D ones. The first ever Zelda I played was Links Awakening and I love it to this very day, but I wouldn't directly compare it to my favourite game OOT, in the way thats being suggested.
  4. point taken, I'm gonna go back to WW at some point, but gonna do OOT and MM first I think. well it didn't so much change, just had people celebrating in the castle square etc... Link went back to the villiage which was once again inhabited by everybody...
  5. yeah thats the only way to do it, I think this particular boss challenge however is begging to be a multiplayer game imagine how awesome it would be.
  6. well finally just completed this, was a little disappointed by the ease at which the final boss was done, but overall loved it, felt a lot more epic than the previous ones. and the final final battle is pretty awesome in grandeur! much better than Wind Wakers end boss, so much better infact more than makes up for it. Am sat watch the credits now, is nice to see Hyrule returned to a joyous happy place, with everyone celebrating! and seeing what various characters are up to. is it as good as OOT? will have to reserve judgement for when I've completed all the side quests on this run. and then played through it again, see how it feels 2nd time through. because OOT is still just as good no matter how many times you play, I've lost count of how many times I've done it...I hope TP ends up the same. anyway I've got red steel waiting to be complete now.... EDIT: Am I right in thinking there is no way off "The End" Screen?! EDIT 2: ahh it faded away eventually...
  7. well here is a handy site: http://www.twilight-calculator.us.tt/ for calculating how much of Zelda you have completed. Here's what I came out as: this is despite me being up to Hyrule Castle so still plenty to go, I havn't done many sidequests as all so comes as no surprise.
  8. haha! will give it a look, i'm in process of editing my own!
  9. the first one, because it represents the series at its greatest, most simple, most pure gaming experience, the way it should have always remained. also Monkey Target was faultless on it....
  10. and so solitanze 's point collapses (kinda, guess he really meant in regards to third party games)
  11. Well haven't completed the game yet, but just about to go into hyrule castle to what I assume will be a dungeon then the face off against ganondorf. Anyway, back to what I wanted to say, I loved the first half of the game, I loved the organic feel of the dungeons, the way the you felt like you were getting further into the woods, i loved the fire temple feeling like I was going further into the mines, but this idea soon seemed to get abandoned, and we end up with temples of the traditional form and easy ones at that..only the sky temple has really had me scratching my head... Also think there are some blatant attempts to stretch the game out longer...and some lazy ones mind... One final thing, whilst there have been some great boss battles so far, from an epic kind of view point, none of them have been that hard, once you've sussed what to do there are a piece of piss... I prefer my bosses to be about solving what to do and struggling through with it, really feeling like the battle is a challenge, I mean Zant was a joke to be honest.... This is my first real post to critique TP and no doubt I will get slated for it. But I would still say this is up there with OOT as one of the best Zelda's there is. It is simply the most comprehensive Zelda there is, the best re-telling of the ancient tale there is. has some of the coolest items to collect and even though I have had a go about the levels being easy, i'm glad it's been the way it is. I'm in my final year at uni and don't have the time to spend on giant adventures right now, so Zelda has been ok for me, spent 40ish hours so far and thats ok for me, anymore and it would have been too long and hard I reckon. Also finally think the wiimote works so well and am so glad nintendo held it back for the wii. recently got the 4 game collectors disc off ebay and played abit of the WW demo quickly to just get straight into it and found it sooo wierd going back, hated not swinging to use the sword didn't feel natural at all.....
  12. it's funny you should say that my girlfriend loves it!and can't get enough of warioware, think the quirky nature appeals to her.
  13. yeah was thinking the same myself, can't find it.
  14. it's not really a big recall is it? they've just offered the replacement straps so that no one can sue them if the original thinner straps break, because they can turn round and say you should have ordered the new ones. if it was a recall we would have had to send them back... haven't got my straps yet by the way...
  15. to be honest if you have ever played Most Wanted this game will feel like a step back, in style and gameplay even to be honest. But you may prefer this if you prefer Underground. Haven't played it on Wii only on PS2.
  16. i'm just sure I remember reading he was gonna do it... if it wasn't this game maybe it was scarface, remember he was definitly up for doing some game.... hmmm will have to look. yeah quick wikipedia check it was infact scarface: the world is yours... my mistake.
  17. didn't even know it was there! *scampers over to the wii... EDIT: well finished it, clocking in around two hours, according to my message board, although some of that time has also been taken up with my girlfriend playing through the first few levels on her own profile... also watch the staff credits, grrr why can't our miis have all those awesome looking clothes?
  18. yeah it didn't work in that dos box thing. didn't think it was a dos game myself but didn't know how to get it to run, got it sorted with batch though cheers guys..
  19. no leave it untouched. a remake would wreck it's classic status cos no doubt they would make alterations to it wouldn't please it everyone, its not possible. I'd much rather they gave us a brand new Zelda with a unique gameplay element, like oracle of ages/seasons and Majora's Mask time travel tomfoolery! If OOT does get remade, please Nintendo leave it out of they way for awhile.
  20. didn't the original have ricky gervais doing a characters voice on it?
  21. well not really looking forward to it that much, but if it got good reviews I'd buy it for sure. I've never been that great a fan of GTA since GTA 3, got Vice City and San Andreas and just didn't enjoy them as much... but have never played any of the clones, other than Simpsons Hit and Run which only really survived cos it was a license game....
  22. jeez I dunno... seriously, all I did was trade was Phoenix Wright! that I had completed and will never go back to, as its so linear and once you know what to present when and where it's simple to play.... anyway back on wario ware, played quite a way into it, just done 9 volts level and gave jimmy p (or t which ever one is the second one) but didn't finish it. loving the game so far, love how so many different things can be done with each pose. one slight niggle I have though is annoying that have to complete the single player 1st before multiplayer...but its only a minor niggle as I'm like an hour or so in and sure there won't be that many more levels. one ofter problem I have is the boss levels, they are way too short, I was really looking forward to the starfox one but it was so short and so easy, on wario ware on the cube at least they were a lot longer. I mean what was with that one with the burger one where stuff stacks up and you simply have to pick up the remote off the table when the burger bun is complete and thats it?! piece of piss.... can see the likes of tower tennis keeping me coming back for higher score tho... can see myself going back to it again and again though and always will be one along with wii sports to reel out with mates around... definitly recommend it, and glad I traded games in and only payed £6 for it!
  23. yeah not too bad at all its building up to be quite a good first year for Nintendo's first proper online gaming home console (lets forget the cubes half arsed efforts, and the BS thing for the SNES) I've bolded the ones I'm gonna get-basically only 3 im not getting.
  24. went into gamestation today to get warioware and they were choker block for wiimotes and nunchuks you couldn't move for them.also had a load of component cables.
  25. completed it, ain't gonna go back to it again to be honest, and got £20 exchange for it when I bought it at work in the 2 for £45, so was £22.50 plus 30% off, seems well worth it to me!
