The multiplayer sounds awesome I never got CoD 4 as it had been out for awhile when I got my PS3 and didn't quite realise how long its legs would be. The problem I always have with games like this is I always want to complete the single player first and due to limited gaming time that takes me longer than expected by which time everyone is already awesome at the multiplayer. I think I will have to spread my time between the two better.

I did know that actually...was wondering why it wasn't in the demo though. I think one nice compromise to make would be simply to let you strafe when aiming, which as far as I know you can't do.

I have to say I am not at all enticed by Noby Noby Boy it seems to have no appeal what so ever.

What gameworld did you end up going in? There are spaces in mine now...seems to have been a drop off in people there.

Agreed I do feel the controls are somewhat clunky but you soon get used to them again. I have mixed feelings about it at all. I think yes there is a case that the controls add to sense of fear and work as part of the survival horror experience. However I do not feel that Resi is a survival horror anymore, it is becoming more and more an action shooter with horror elements. Playing of the demo has done little to change this view. It doesn't have that same feeling as the earlier Resi games. I am by no means saying its worse for it as Resi 4 is one of my favourite games ever. I also think do we really want another game that uses the standard third person shooter controls and has all the usuals like a cover system etc.... Resident Evil's controls brings along a different challenge to the table and with it a different way to approach and play the game.

Hmm perhaps I will put Saints Row 2 on my rental list have Sonic Unleashed to send back...could see what its like cos been weighing up buying it. EDIT; I can't be bothered with R2 anymore. I was annoyed when people started losing stats so kinda got disillusioned and now the patch has hit its too little too late as feel KZ 2 will take over.

I am currently weighing up whether it is worth getting something to play in the build up to this as not really got much I want to play through. Problem is know as soon as this hits won't be playing anything else.

I played it a ton on PS3 when I got orange box not sure it will run on my samsung netbook though lol!

That End War set was in the sale at GAME reckon its unlikely it will still be knocking around but worth a look...

Yeah would make sense and make it easier for a second player to simply join in and still have their stats properly followed rather than just be a supplementary add on player who doesn't really acquire anything.

I have finally played the demo and to be honest I thought it was pretty bad. Whilst I think it works very well at what it does from the psychological point of view and not a lot else for me...

Surely will have a save feature? The Megadrive Collection on PSP did,....Although it is SEGA so you never know...

You would miss the first season thats all...so you would be somewhat at a disadvantage as you would be forced to start from the bottom and work your way from there. The qualifiers have started now for the 1st season which means we all play each other with the final league table deciding who starts in which divisions.
