considering Rev uses true motion capture, as aposed to the age old 'laser' system i hardly consider this to be an innovation at all. I may have incredible faith in nintendo but there controller will be quality and smooth as butter to handle. This will hardly/ have (if any)integrated software support and will fail miserably.

Great news. Even though i was sure TP would sell more than a million on the cube i was a little pissed of that it wont get the recognition it deserves. With this title on the revolution as well, it will become a 'must-have' .....the buzz will be huge. It will also be a perfect showcase that tight controls, amazing gameplay, and massive amounts of style and art direction far outweighs the importance of that techinical jargon.

The thing that excites me most is the fact the Nintendo made it and this time they are going gunz ablazing, crazy innovation styles.

Yea your right Jamba some of my jokes are a parody of my actual thoughts. I know this is a simple idea that im sure many developers will use. Anyone played a PC adventure/RPG games like WOW? Basically the analogue stick will be the 'awsd' keys for movement. (except better than a keyboard because of the huge amount of angles possible. The REV controller will be the 'mouse' that rotates the viewpoint. Now that is only using ONE dimension of the controller. You could make many actions based on 'lifting' or 'lowering' the controller. Now comes the action: you approach an enemy and press and hold the nun chuck shoulder button. This will make the camera zoom in to over the shoulder (like RE4). While in this mode the analogue still controls your movement but instead now the main controller now controls your weapon. you will no longer have 'attack button 1', attack 'button 2' and 'attack button 3' - that is SO old school; instead you will have true analogue attacks, feel like stabbing his leg? then take aim and do so. This opens up so much, people think the controller lacks buttons, when in fact the possibilities are endless. Imagine trying to map all these different attacks to buttons when in fact an intuitive stroke can pull of the same thing. Simply hold down a 2nd trigger to quickly bring up the Shield, then use the main controller to take aim at incoming projectiles.

you read this stuff and yet some people round here have the nerve to pass the rev of as not being 'next-gen'. More like next god-dam ERA.

And im sure that if they are any good Nintendo would have thought of them already so we can expect them in the future... hurrah! Yes James is right, for me nitnendo have everything covered except for one thing... timing. If revolution released alongside Zelda in say March, things would be alot brighter.

One hole in the theory. The weaker console should normally = earlier console = greater customer awareness. Sadly this is not the case with REV. Nintendo have to Market the CONTROLER like crazy and make the competitors devices look exremely dated.

I cant believe all these crybabies. When he said 2 - 3 X the quality, i bet he meant ACTUAL visable difference to the human brain. IE what is on the screen. Besides the difference between the NES and SNES was about exactly the same. Gameplay mates gameplay. I been playing the latest graphical 'masterpieces' on my suped up PC and i am not impressed at all. And most of us being nintendo fans i expected better. You got to remember Nintendos whole strategy here is for developers to come up with UNIQUE gameplay ideas, THEN rap graphics around it. Not the other way around. EDIT: i would also like to add that those screens above DO NOT floor me the same way that gamecube Rebel strike tech demo did. The era of bigger better graphix is over... its agiven sure but should not be a selling point.

Its not unfortunate thankyou. I live in a flat and have access to every console, i have tried the others. I never said they have bad games, All i said is i am a Nintendo fan for a reason, not blind loyalty, the reason is i have more fun playing there games. How is that unfortunate?

I'm alowed to give them a god-like status because in my opinion they make better games than there compeditors. End of story. But really the one reason a truely rank Nintendo number one is Zelda.

Nah i just used waterbased coloured pencils and used a damp brush to blend the colours. What you see is the entire pic, there is no way im ready to do the wing yet. I have looked at this pic way too much, i hate it, i want to burn it. Anyway next thing im gona do is a Link action picture.

Yea your absolutely right. It started off as a bird/griffen type thing so thats why it looks out of place. Im not gona try fix it, cause everytime ive tried fixing things on this ive only made it worse. Im going to get back into drawing in a big way, this is my first so its only uphill from here.

Now i have'nt drawn a full page picture since i was like 13 (i am 21 yo), and i know it is considerably flawed, there is so much about it i wish i could change. Never the less what do you guys think? Sorry about the out-of-focus camera shot.
