LOL you guys seem to believe anything. Obviously there is a chance he is right.... a slim chance ..... like 5%.

IF you want to play you 'mates' organise it on forums such as this. We could create a rev-europe friends list that everyone here can use.

Importing Revolution from US and using it online in UK?
King_Mushroom replied to boymacwerter's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yea it is quite likely that the cube support will be region free. Revolution wont be region free ofcoarse but i hardly see how the cube games should matter as nobody will be buying them anymore. -
^^^ Very true. I just dont see how anyone with half an imagination cant think of the great gameplay possibilities with the controller. As long as its ultra easy to be 'real-world-accurate' your imagination can run totally wild. And we all know nintendo is the best of the three to make certain of good hardware quality control. Anyway who cares, how is he gona resist picking up his mates rev controller - i mean comon! everybody in the world is going to be totally enticed when they see others waving it around with HUGE grins.

I dont mind it if people tastes stray from Nintendo, but when people make snide jokey remarks about them i get so angry. I seriously wana go ocarina of time on there ass and cut them up with the bigoran sword.

Check out this guy Rev Controller Mock-up
King_Mushroom replied to Britprog's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This is comparing it to the Mouse and keyboard on the computer... dont do that!. Whos is to say that a slightly wobly gun isnt a good thing? i mean surely that is more realistic right?. In realy life there is no way you can hold things as completely still as you do in those PC FPS's -
^^^ the graphics are awesome, espiecially the awesome archetecture.

Is Sony making the same mistakes as Nintendo did?
King_Mushroom replied to gaggle64's topic in Other Consoles
i see a balance come next generation Market wise. However i see Nintendo making uber-profits and a bigger ratio of critically aclaimed games. -
so what dp we actually know about the revolution?
King_Mushroom replied to dukkadukka's topic in Nintendo Gaming
we know we cannot wait any longer for more information. -
if they want to experiment, why not just create a new franchise?

This could surely be classic Nintendo optimism, but could next-gen see Nintendo going full-on with marketing? Nintendo have been very quiet this current generation. This maybe because they thought it was a lost cause promoting the cube to anyone but fans (almost like they took the escape shoot with a little bit of profit). I'm hoping for a huge investment in resources next time round. We all know Nintendo could suprise us again, not with controllers, but with Marketing. They surely have the $$$ to do so. Maybe, just maybe, they will forsee larger profit margins if they invest wisely in advertising. Again this is half me dreaming, but i want futuristic, cleaver, nutty advertising that makes normal controllers look obsolete!!.....and please NO, not another mario sunshine style add to torture my soul!

If you are getting a secondary console, which one will it be?
King_Mushroom replied to Dawn's topic in Other Consoles
Hmm probably get a 360 cause its out first lol. Microsoft will go all out with support, the graphix will be amazing. I seriously dont see anything in getting a PS3, at best it will have games = (on par) with the Xbox. that and a Revolution should be all i need. bye bye PC gaming. -
Hmmmmm 1.Mario Party 9 2.Mario Party 8 3. Its a toss up between Mario Party 11 and Mario Party 13
-
i just hope that the shell looks just as stylistic as the rest of the console. The IGN mock-up looked ugly. Maybe make it stick out of the bottom rather than the top.

What game would you most like to see on the Revolution?
King_Mushroom replied to Kakarot's topic in Nintendo Gaming
How about a sex game where you wear it as a strap-on. Seriously though i think the controller can advance every current genre as well as establish new ones. i just cant wait, it really is going to re-kindle my videogame passion. Blind faith i know, but we all know it will be true! -
Microsoft's Peter Moore praises Nintendo's Revolution controller
King_Mushroom replied to Stocka's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That to me is like saying 'i'm perfectly happy getting payed 200k a year, so i dont really want it increased to 400k' -
yea but you are just masking the X,Y,Z data with 'interface' data. Believe me its all there.. it has to be in order to recreate in a 3d world.

It uses Blue tooth technology to sense the controllers EXACT distance AND direction from the TV (using those things on the side of the tv). Now this tells the REV exactly where the controller is (x, y , z co-ordinates) HOWEVER NOT the angle the contoller is on. The calculations for the angle of the contollers comes from within the controllers itself (tilt mechanism or Gyro) So when you think about it there is a hell of alot of 3d information getting transmitted. X,Y,Z co-ordinates for the LOCATION of the contoller, and X,Y,Z for actual contoller ANGLES. So in theory with all of this information no matter how you hold the controller then revolution should beable to display it vitually on the screen exactly how you are holding it. AND the distance from the Screen. (LIKE A MIRROR!)

^^^ nice point Monkey. I think its taking awhile for the whole concept to sync in with people. Like monkey has menioned the 'pointer' is MUCH more than an alternative to an analogue stick. With his examples above you can eliminate the need for many button simply buy performing INTUITIVE actions like lowering your controller. 'twisting' your controllers to lean like mentioned above would not only be quick intuitive and easy... it would also be satisfiing watching your REALWORLD action replicated on the screen - it may even be darn right freaky.
-
Yes it COULD detect how fast its going. You gota think like a computer here. Since it can measure where it is in the room at any one time the rev could perform simple physics calculations. i.e The controller moved from point (x,y,z) to point (x1,y1,z1) in .05 seconds ... therefore it was going at X speed. Hope that made sense.

I dont see why you are all so suprised. I always had total faith and was always planning on getting the Revolution no question. Out of all the consoles the Revolution truely deserves the title - 'next-gen'
