*high fives* Yeah I had a copy of it on my laptop once, and very much liked it. They played all the songs I mentioned live (Goodbye Sky Harbour was just a segue from one song to another though.

Dyson; I don't think so :| My teamwork is often awesome :P I have no real idea why. I just put it down to being an awesome manager. I don't think you're really going to be a part of the relegation battle just yet. Dyson your keeper had a rating of TWO. Insane. I think ReZ has once again shown his worth - I've secretly been measuring myself against him (lololo etc) and we both lost 1-0 to odders, but my match had 2-2 worth of chances... But ReZ MISSED A PENALTY! The fool. Oddy won the 'chances' battle, too - 5-3, which suggests a less even game... My next game is against ReZ, y'see :P Getting worked up for it, even though it's a week away! But the next game I'm waiting for is this evening in my official league. The 'regular' league of ours; shaping up to be as predicted with the promotions, but with maddog and domster doing marginally better than I thought, and mundi doing worse. Some of the squads in the newbies league are quite impressive - Noodle's squad is quite strong, and - I'll be honest - I'm a little surprised at Dan Dare's team doing as well as it is :P not for the strength, but because I didn't think he'd put any effort in! The person paying least attention to this is Domstercool. He hasn't been on x11 in nearly two weeks. The entire lower league is, most excellently, keeping up to date, with all of them having logged on since tuesday.

3-1! BOO YA! A victory much needed. Currently sitting with 4 pts above the relegation zone; all three players in the zone have a match in hand over me, so it's still going to be close - but I don't see all of them winning just yet... Great game - nearly all of my players played ahead of their skill ratings. Still sickening that I can't get any player in the x11 mind you.. got manager though ^_^

Bless you, eenuh. As I said before, I know what it's like to have surgery rescheduled (mine went from April to August, and for the worse). It'll be hard but worth it in the end. Thoughts are with you. If you go to the N-E meet, Eenuh, I can teach you! I tried to teach letty last year, she almost got it :P Good man I'm glad you felt happy to do it. As I said, I've been in this situation a fair few times, and I've always felt better for at least trying again. Good luck with your results.

No Lynch! Bring on teh game.

Dannyboy; alright! I said it already :P I was wrong with that. I think the mafia guys found it was alright because they had the 'dramatic irony' of knowing more of what was going on in the write-ups than the townies did. Chair; thanks that's a big compliment, coming from you (Big_C! :P) I hope that my next mafia game can equalise the balance that I over-stepped with this one. Jonnas; exactly! You should've re-read the previous days :P It's exactly how I wrote it. Well, next time I'll try not to make that so necessary. No doubt the 'mafia' will have a much harder time... *mirks in glee at his own knowledge of his next mafia game*

Bleed American was my first album, then I worked backwards. it really is a close call between Bleed American and Clarity, it's just Goodbye Sky Harbour... I used to get stoned and lie in the park listening to that :P knew it well. Futures brings up all sorts of walking-to-college memories, which probably taints it a fair old bit!

It's like these; ... except more complicated. That's the way I've always seen the mafia games. I tried to provide all the bits so that if someone sat and connected the dots, they'd end up with answers.

Thank you cube ^_^ I am humping an effigy of you as we speak. Mmm.

Dannyboy; I agree. Too many at once can confuse and alienate. I can wait with this game until yours and chair's (eventual) mafias are over.

The Middle = over played (ofcourseIwasgoingtosaythat). I think Clarity is really my favourite album. So twinkled with sadness in love. Lucky denver mint, to me this is heaven, just watch the fireworks, on a sunday, 23.12.95 (or whatever that one is), and, of course, Sky Harbour. I CAN'T BELIEVE I LOST MY IPOD ARGGGGGGGGGGGGG

I think I would've allowed eenuh to heal herself. There were a few things like that, and to some extent I allowed some creative freedom. in IRC ell said he wanted dyson to target him the next night, to see how i'd deal with woman/horsey action I think it's really hard to find a balance between making fair roles and making great roles; ideally I'd dish out the best roles to the most active people, but of course that would remove some mystery. I was trying to get the quieter players more into the game by giving them interesting roles. But ultimately, I'm pretty happy with the amount of interest. I got all my PMs in (eventaully); the game would've been quicker if I was less hesitant to kill off slowpokes -- fact is i saw the mafia doing too well so I didn't want to make the numbers too uneven :P If i didn't rid Fish, then the game would be here for another day... Well, sorta.

I tend to spend a day trying to do things, and everything fails, so I end up doing the 'lie down' thing for the rest of the week. Good luck with that dude. I'm sure it'll be great.

50p lightbulb versus an electrician... to change a bulb? When I'm rich then sure, although you do realise calling an electrician is in itself a whole new world of fuck-ups waiting to happen.

CTG: because what you're saying is like saying "if cheese never existed then nor would CATS because mice wouldn't exist without cheese, and cats wouldn't exist without mice!" The sentiment that you don't have to enjoy both is in itself fine :P

Yes, you guys got very lucky very often! When i got the PMs in for this night role and I saw Ell was going to follow Gizmo, i was like "YES! The mafia are going dowwwn.." :P then I saw moogle target Zell... and I knew how it was going to go down. Croc-skinned boots (maase) would've had some awesome mexican stand-off scene with you, something really awesome would've happened, and then you'd be dead. He'd claim the reward on his own brother, then spend the rest of the game roleblocking people by drinking the night away. It was a long shot for Maase, but he came close a few times - so often he'd target the same person as you :P Twins, I swear. If you had died, gizmo, then the game would've been so massively different. I had wanted you to die at this point! Though the rest of the game would've been death-less and... talkey. hmm. It took a month and 2 days to do this, and we only had, what, 4 nights? Lol! Shocking.

Yesterday I remembered that when I was younger where I broke two mirrors in one day... I'm starting to realise now that I really am cursed. Seriously; everything I do gets so overly complicated. It's like your lightbulb goes, so you need a new one, only the first four shops don't have any. Then you find a shop that has one - you buy it - then you get it home and it's broken. Then you find a fresh bulb in the cupboard under the stairs anyway. Next you try and screw the bulb in, but because of the high ceiling you need a stepladder, so you bring it in and -- the odd shape of the room, the bed in the way -- you can't open it up. You can lean it on a wall but you can't reach the bulb from there. You attempt to climb the ladder ON the bed... but think better for it. You need a chair to stand on, only the nearest chair is in the dining room, so when you're trying to get the chair out you catch the tablecloth, and everything on the table, fruit bowl and all, comes tumbling off; OJ caught in that moment where it can't decide if it'll stain or not, so you rush to find kitchen roll, and in your haste you pull too hard on the dispenser and half the roll comes out with you. You realise while you're dabbing the OJ that you're accidentally trodden a strawberry into the carpet anyway. Giving up on the kitchen, and the lounge, you get the chair into the other room, then realise you got the wobbly chair with the support-less seat. You scratch the paint on the door as you take it back. Grabbing the right chair, you return to your room, and thusly attempt to balance on a chair on your bed, walls too far away for support. Your fingers search for the socket when BAM! Yep, that's the socket alright. Should've turned the light OFF before accidentally sticking your finger in the socket. And now you've hit your head on the headstand. And you dropped the bulb. And it broke. Now, that story genuinely happened to me once. A 4-minute job turned into a 4-hour calamity session. It's just a nice parable to everything in my life. It's ridiculous. It's a miracle I ever get anything done. I hate the jobcentre.

sorry! edited it now Yeah, people forgot that you said that (but not me, oh no) -- but again, nearly every nightphase lasted far too long while I put off the writing (it would take me two hours to sort a list out, to come up with scenarios, etc). I'm glad the mafia thought they were in trouble and it's not just my imagination! Haha :P

Mundi; i was frustrated throughout the game, but as dannyboy said - it was my own fault for making the write-ups complicated. not_so_tiny; if someone falls into your trap, then they're evil. if you don't know whether they targetted you, or you targetted them (which, remember, is a role i gave you because you didn't have a night role) then there are clues in the write-up that signify their character. Dannyboy; yes, I was egotistical with the narrative. It won't happen again The reason why clues were hard to find was a) because I named all teh characters, so the mafia would be identified too soon. I had to make a balance, and b) I don't think all the townies really knew what to do with the info they got. Jimbob got some clues that he never revealed. Not_So_Tiny never told anyone what someone getting trapped meant, which would've definitely helped. The Fish... well nobody targetted him and he didn't have a night role, then didn't want one when i offered, and never interacted with the thread. MadDog's coroner reports told him who the dead person had targetted since the game started by username, which could've been used in combination with the write-ups to give you some more information. Mundi's role was my personal favourite; I gave everyone the sort of roles that they asked for :P But nobody really believed him. The 'list' of who was who; Lilster - Neutral - luke dannyboy-the-dane - neutral - pete Zell - Neutral - zombie king. - just liked biting people. Would win when majority were zombies (I'm probably going to do a proper zombie mafia after the 'future' one) Tellyn - ? - good - pimp moriarty - stupid investigator. mundi - good - The Postman - INVESTIGATES - Is told the alignment they requested. Jimbob - Good - Ernie the Editor - INTERVIEWS/INVESTIGATES - Asks for their recollection of the previous night. dyson - good - scarlett the hussy - PROTECTS. That's it :P why did people find that so hard to believe?! Eenuh - good - Big Riverback - CURES INFECTIONS - only eenuh could night-kill zell. Zell wouldn't be lynched if eenuh didn't vote for him. tsk! Ellmeister - good - percy the horse. Chose two targets, then got the names of the place where they were (so in the write-up he could assume his target was one of several people, or less. On the last night he witnessed gizmo at the post-office, thus showing that gizmo was the killer. You reaaally should've just said that, dude :P would've made the game way more interesting once he was lynched!) Fish - good - Wyatt the Prospector - If targetted, found to be evil. Could not be night-killed. Jonnas - good - Doc Lester PROTECTS not_so_tiny - good - Clark the Clock keeper DOUBLE VOTE, people trapped in his tower if evil maase - (?) Good Man with Croc-skinned shoes - looking to find and kill snake-skinned boots MadDog - good - Coroner - discovered victim's previous targets *** Cube - evil - barman DOUBLE VOTE coolness bears - evil - pastor - gets 'confessions'; roleblocks Nintendohnut - Evil - Dirk the deputy; roleblocks/protects mr-paul - evil - charlie/sally; silences the next day moogleviper - evil - vincent (undertaker); discovered people's roles Gizmo - evil - Snakeskin boots - killa!
