Just spent 10 mins waiting or a taxi company to pick up da fooooone! cba walking to t'other side o'town so cabinet. Got me a BOX of cider (liek, 3 litres in a box with a tap!) and some GAYmers (fortehlols). Feel ill so my plan is to get a sofa, be seated and drink my merry face off for the night. Temptation to stay in, watch dexter and drink alone is fairly strong, but i Will Power Through.

Sure, sure. Well I've Sorted Shit Out today, and spent my grandparent's xmas money on Batman, Condemned 2 and LOST for the xbox for the total of £28! Strangely the one I'm gonna play first is LOST, then probably get going with Dexter season 4. Bumped into a few people in town, made some arrangements to see them in the new year, got their Word on coming to my partay, waiting for landlord to come and take some of my hard-earned dosh off my hands. Now to prepare my new year's resolutions, before the inevitable thread pops up.

SPAMBOT: I've been contemplating using a dating site myself for a while... I know some people who have in teh past, and mostly to no avail - but good friends were made and, in one case, a relationship was found with the best friend of the date... if that makes sense? Before reading Jav's post I was thinking "yeah mate, do it! Who knows what'll happen..." But I think he makes a lot of sense. The risk is massive... but it is up to you

Having a Sorting Stuff Out day. Going to uni, printing off another finance form (the last one was the wrong one, hooray! Another month to go), then go to two banks to sort out accounts, etc etc etc. Going to buy some headphones because I'm pissed off not having any music. My only argument here is that you don't come out enough because you can't drive home. I think it's great that you can have an easy life in all the ways listed above (and I do appreciate that when your car breaks, it affects you massively), but I think it's just a shame you don't come for a drink mid-week and walk/taxi/bus home like I'd have to. I think you forget how easy that can be because you've had full control of your travels with a car, and I think you can miss out on other aspects of social life if you tie yourself wholely to a car.

Adapting your life to the way of Car means that when Car is taken away, you feel like you're miles away from everything and anything. How do people do those things without a car? My family would either push the trolley full of food home, or get a taxi (for food :P) Nearly every time I go home I have to go to B&Q on the bus with my mother to help her carry a bookcase/flatpack thing home. You have a tiny fridge/freezer as it is - without a car you'd just do more frequent, smaller bursts of shopping. Not like you go to ikea all the time, either. Yes, this all stems from me thinking you don't come out enough.

MWahahaa! Striker played a 12 skill game, scored a hat-trick! Bumped me up to 4th spot - a comfy position as everyone else will be a game in hand on the last day of the season. Next game against odders - if I get a win then it's all good Feels great to win a game again!

Yeah that title doesn't really work. I was thinking "Jonst you wish your birthday was hot like me" and "jonst more, with feeling" but tbh they're both rubbish, so instead there's this rubbish. Sorry. Anyway! Noticed the hint in HWYD, so here y'go - Happy birthday, fellow Good TV Lover! I'd hire the FNL girls to go show you how you've been doing it wrong all these years, but I'm saving up for that for myself.

SO I doubt (heavily) that this is the relevant place to put this... a (huge) list of things to do to that range from neat ways to fool your mind, to slightly sinister ways to think too wrong. I dunno. Hard to explain. The website calls it "childhood brain modification" - essentially I think the idea is to 'think like a child' more, but in reality this stuff mostly makes me think of weird transcient not-quite-here-am-I thoughts.

Was interesting trying to find pictures of my hometown. Everyone takes 'nice' pictures... A look up the main street in Portslade. The left side of teh road is Station Road, the right side of the same street is called Boundary Road. Seriously. Once the road crosses... The level crossing by the station, both sides become Station Road. I think. I could have the side names the wrong way around! It's because the road divides Portslade and Hove (brighton is the other side of Hove, all three are plum squat with the sea). These views are taken from Portslade beach, but there's a harbour between this beach and the street above (my house is on a road off that street). People tend to go to hove beach (which is closer, bizarrely...) The sea/harbour would be seen behind/to the left of the photographer here. Portslade is a massive skank place. Here's what was found next door to where my primary school was located; Picture's taken on a corner overlooking a T-junction. The school is on the corner to the photographer's left. It's ridiculously tricky to get pictures I want of the place. If I ever get to go home, and grab a camera, I'd like to do a proper description of where I live/my life. Not that anyone cares :P

WORK: They've started the training - did damage control, cherished and loved by all. Was late by, like, nearly 2 hours. Nobody cared. Awesome. Blame trains. PLAY: Went straight t'pub, which led to my superior wit forcing some chav to say he was gay, so now he's gonna knife me, all because he took the piss out of my shoes. Went to CORP, rocked OUT, walk home in dark plus alcohol plus ice equals WALKFALL INTO WALL and MASSIV GRAZE ON FORHEAD. Worst bit was that my glasses fell off and I couldn't find them (no streetlights...) sooo... I called out a taxi, the driver found them straight away, I gave him three quid and said cheers, you can go now. He was all "er, I don't care about you or your life, give me more money or I call the police" and I was all "er, wtf, why can't you be a human being and fuck off?" and he was all "fuck you" and I was all "gaaay" then whatever. Then while I'm half asleep I knock my bedside table, sent one of my hearing aids flying, and still can't find it. Fucking hate my eyes, hate my ears. Fuck you. 12 hour shift tomorrow. GASH. Might get booze. EDIT: aaaand spent so much time faffing about, Netto is now closed. Bah.

I think a dishwasher will be the first thing I buy when I get my own place. FUNCTIONALITY HI-FIVE! -
Turns out the gravy we have in the house has MSG so I'm making do without! Got the turkey (joint) in the oven! Woop... Watching TOTP. Mmmmm.... bunch of ladies in stockings! Remembered - last night my mate had an arm wrestle with a cage-fighter and won, then I beat my mate (because his arm was tired but shhh) -- the cage-fighter had been arm-wrestling people all night and was 'the champ' -- so effectively I AM CHAMP NAOW! Xmas is awesome and stuff, but there's nobody else with as much free time as me to post on here, or on facebook. I'm thinking I may turn to Dexter (s2) in a bit. EDIT: Muse on TOTP. I'm not a follower/fan/stalker/obsessive but they are clearly massive cool doods. Loving their get-up

I lost 2-0! Merry Christmas, you bloody useless blades! Common knowledge :P Been mentioned several times in this thread. Yeah I know the feeling. Three seasons ago I had a good run in the top league, coming 4th, the next season I struggled to stay up, then i was relegated last season, and this season I'm struggling to stay up again! Currently I feel aimless, not knowing whether to stop playing my 'strongest' team and start just building up youth... whether to buy a good young player or an old great one... Oddy's right (though what he'd know about losing a few games is laughable :P) - stick with it, aim to avoid relegation, or get your own back on the team that beat you, or fall in love with one of your players and beef them up - or just wait for the new season with the new competition!

I've stopped liking you ever since you made that post. Bah Humbug to you!
