  1. ShopTo should hopefully be taking pre-orders for this tomorrow. http://www.shopto.net/news/44452/Bravely-Default-Deluxe-Collectors-Edition-details-coming-soon
  2. Annnnnndddd... 48 hours in and the Elite Four + Champion have been beaten! What a game, loved all of the build up towards the end and then the actual end, plus credits and that final scene... 'dem feels! Seriously though congrats to anyone who managed to finish the game in 20 hours... I barely did any back-tracking during those 48 hours, it was all play time as well, no idling at all... so yeah, once again major props to @Hero\-of\-Time , @Serebii and anyone else who finished it in that time because I certainly couldn't! : peace: Also...
  3. Just got an e-mail from ShopTo entitled 'Ticket Notification' so naturally I thought to myself 'Oh... perhaps they had some last minute cancellations of the Killzone Mega Bundle' but nope I open it to find... ...an invitation to play the Xbox One, in London. They just don't get it do they? :p
  4. Why do they have to RUIN the boxart of the packaged games that comes with all collectors editions with a HUGE rating on the box? Otherwise, it's lovely. Hurry up and get it on-site for pre-order Shop-To! :p
  5. Back on topic... How much does everyone think that the Year of Luigi coin is actually worth now that it is sold out? Some have already sold/pre sold on eBay for just over £30 while there are only two pre-sales up there for around the £40 mark... I would definitely not feel comfortable about pre-selling something like that so I'll be waiting until they are in-hand - plus it'll be nearer Christmas by then - I do find it interesting how much these Club Nintendo items are worth to people though once you can't get them any more. I saw a Club Nintendo SNES classic controller in CEX for around £30 boxed new which I snapped up at the time being that it had sold out, so glad I got it too as I've been using it as my default VC controller for the Wii U as it's literally perfect for SNES games in particular, so I will more than get my money's worth out of it over time.
  6. I'm going to start watching Caprica tonight, will report back tomorrow.
  7. Because you're at least doing something which counts for a lot, you say that you have spoken to her before? Well that's something. If you actually ask her out next time you see her on the bus and if she agrees then that's also definitely something to be happy about. I've talked to girls on the bus before but I don't think I've actually asked them out so you'd be going one step further than me at least... but if you really get the feeling that she might be interested then go for it! : peace: Otherwise you'll never know...
  8. I won't be buying current gen games on my PS4 when I get it unless they've at least been partially developed for it or are clearly better on the platform, ACIV does not fall into this category, besides I don't even like Assassin's Creed that much but I certainly would not pay full price for one of those games let alone more just because it has 'PS4' on the box. :p Exclusives and proper next-gen games all the way for me.
  9. That's all well and good, but when you have the likes of GAME selling Pokemon X&Y for £40 in store - when it's £32.99 on their site? - doesn't help matters, I think it's high-time the general RRP is lowered. If any 3DS game had an RRP of £32.99 and was priced at no more than £29.99 at launch on the eShop then I think people would be a lot happier to actually buy games as they'd feel that they aren't getting ripped off as much. What I'm saying is... do Nintendo really want their games on the shelf of unscrupulous retailers such as GAME when they charge such a high price for them, which makes Nintendo inadvertently look bad for hiking up prices even when it isn't actually their fault but the retailers. Or is it not actually a problem and is in fact a case of 'buyer beware' because technically everyone has the ability to shop around but a lot of people don't and so they effectively rip themselves off. :p I'm actually genuinely interested in this issue, even though I know that nothing will be done about it.
  10. If Nintendo were to implement a proper accounts system whereby you didn't 'lose everything' if you lose your console - or if something happens to it - then I would be a lot more willing to buy some of their retail games digitally... ...but not at the high RRP. So until either or both of those things happen I will continue to buy the physical games, besides... I like the relative security and flexibility of having the physical game card. Obviously Virtual Console games are different, because you can only get those digitally, but even I'm being a bit conservative with which ones I download and I review them each week for the site! :p
  11. This is crazy, I bought the original on the Xbox 360 cheap, never really played it... now I've just pre-ordered the Director's Cut on Wii U to support the platform and in the vain hope that I might actually play this fantastic game... on top of everything else though. Ah well, I will find the time! : peace:
  12. What about getting all S Ranks on Time Attack mode?
  13. Agreed, on that note I was serving at the basket checkout at work, I happened to be serving an older woman with a trolley who only had less than 10 items anyway - she used a trolley because it makes it easier to get around - and a middle-aged foreign woman with no manners starts kicking up a fuss, hurling abuse at both me and the customer who I am trying to serve. She eventually walks off and goes to pay for her two items elsewhere, she then comes back after paying to hurl more abuse and to inform me that she is 'going to speak to the manager' I simply reply with 'Ok...' and that was that. I'm only paid to serve, not to deal with bullshit.
  14. Happy Birthday!
  15. inFamous Second Son is basically the game I'm buying the console for, Sucker Punch can take their sweet time with it.
  16. I ordered three... ... does this make me a bad person? Just figured that many other people seemed to be making money out of their Mario Kart trophies - I missed out on those - so... why not? Obviously I'll be keeping at least one though.
  17. Nice one @Cube I take it you'll be wanting Sonic Lost World for your brand new Wii U? If so then I'll keep my sealed copy back for you if you're interested... If not then that's fine too but either way I'm sure that you're going to love being a Wii U owner.
  18. Precisely, I think the important factor here is perhaps that on these larger sites there's money involved... here at N-E we're proud to be independent, yes I know we do get money from ads which goes into keeping the site running but that's about it as far as I know, so ultimately there's nothing 'influencing' our reviews; but I'm not so sure about certain other sites. Anyway, yes I got my dlc for my review copy so @Mokong X\-C if you want to buy my sealed copy of Sonic Lost World then you have first refusal before I put it up on eBay so PM me if you still want it. Oh by all means, read them if you like... I have and I don't feel that they are representative of the same game that I actually spend a significant amount of time playing and reviewing; the difference is that I really don't think that a lot of them actually played the whole game through and just based their reviews on a couple of 'quick goes' on it. Naturally I have no proof but it's not just me that has noticed this so I don't know what to say.
  19. Wow... it seems like just about every other games site has forgotten how to review games, let alone a fantastic Sonic title. I actually seriously question whether or not many of them actually played the game properly or at all instead just choosing to focus on all the other games that are releasing in this rather full schedule. Even at its 'low' points of which there aren't many I would say the quality never really dips that much at all, I honestly stand by my score of 9 and will defend it to the death as a Sonic fan, I would advise people not to listen to the majority of the reviewers who it seems just couldn't be bothered to do their jobs properly and just read the N-E reviews of the game. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to play the dlc Nightmare level.
  20. Ah I mean for digital copies... it's ok anyway I got into my account on the Wii U web browser and it's not appearing yet on my account so I'll just have to wait, apparently once it appears on there I should get a DLC code to use with my digital version, was just a bit odd that the site doesn't appear to be working on firefox at the moment, just keeps giving a 404 on the Club Nintendo section and not allowing any logins. I'll just have to be patient. :/
  21. Anyone else not able to log in to the club Nintendo website atm? I wanted to claim my Sonic Lost World dlc.
  22. I'd still rather get the game earlier...
  23. GAME price - £34.99 Reward points = barely anything ShopTo price - £31.85 Reward points = £1.59 That's around £5 difference, assuming I can get one of those chests for £5 on eBay then I still think I get the better deal because ShopTo generally ship games earlier than GAME... it's not just that it's the 'done thing' to hate GAME, they aren't actually that great any more, not like they used to be long ago.
  24. 7 main worlds...
  25. ... Great... another probably GAME exclusive awesome pre-order bonus that I'll have to resort to buying off eBay.
