  1. I agree, there's just something about him I don't like (especially compared to Ness), I think it's the short blonde hair just making him look dull and like a normal person almost.Ness was cool with the black hair and baseball cap! I have a feeling he has replaced Ness which is a real shame! If not then this new guy would basically a clone, which they supposedly don't want this time around! BOOOOOOOOOOOO! bring back Ness!
  2. LAALAALAALAALAA, use the spoiler tags when talking about the future of season 2!!!
  3. I've supported Raikkonen for 6 years now, pretty much since he joined F1 and any long term follower of his will know that he does have a personality, that's just the way he is with the press and such. But look at any photo's of him round the paddock, or him in any features they do on him (well used to do when Hamilton wasn't around) and he's a different guy, smiling and having fun! Watch this feature Mark Blundell did with him last year or the year before at McLaren... Kimi & Mark training in Switzerland http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1Q-9R-_CLs Still somewhat sub-dued probably because again he's being filmed, but it should give you a different perspective on him! I have huge respect for Kimi as a racer! He never bitches about any other driver or moans about his team/team-mate. He does all his talking out on track, something which Hamilton could learn alot from, as could Alonso the way he's been acting recently. He just gets on with the job. Plus did you see his donut's at Spa after winning the race [despite not being allowed to do them]!! That's emotion right there!
  4. This one please! Raikkonen all the way! Let all the reliability issue Raikkonen had to endure at McLaren [costing him 2 world championships], hit Hamilton and Alonso at once! Although I'm not sure the world could take the combined sheer amount of whining Hamilton and Alonso would do as a result! It's pathetic enough now!!
  5. Alonso or Hamilton will effectively be winning in a Ferrari anyway! the cheating bastards! Yeah McLaren are going to be last in the pitlane, apart from [and how convienient is this!] new team Pro-drive, McLaren's new B team who'll be right next door. So McLaren will probably have a bit more room than they should as Pro-drive will help them out!But with Pro-drive joining, and no new garages being built in the pit-lanes, all other teams are having to bunch up anyway! However, I just found out a while ago McLaren will have a significant advantage over all the other teams going into 2008, when Traction Control is rulled out! Mercedes are supplying the new 'electrical box' used to help the cars deal better with the loss of T.C.! I've heard that in tests, ALL the other teams are having real trouble hooking this up with their cars, and in some cases teams have said it's actually proving dangerous to test because of it! McLaren of course are having no trouble syncing it up to their cars and so whilst all other teams struggle over the winter tests to get it working with their cars, McLaren will be able to spend that time working on 2008 race setup! Also... can you imagine a race like todays next year without T.C.!
  6. I think Melee's are FAR better!
  7. I can't stand the smug bastard! Ron Dennis' secret love child!and can he stop kissing the camera! That's already happened! This seasons ITV coverage has been ruined for me because of Hamilton! Gone are the days when there would be different features each weekend on different drivers up and done the pitlane... visiting Trulli's vineyard in Italy, Alonso in his home town of Oxford, Mark Blundel training in Finland with Raikkonen etc... and Martin Brundels regular technical F1 guides also seem to have been sidelined! All to make way for a 1hour Steve Ryder love fest on Hamilton each and every weekend! and stupid commentary analysis for the new Hamiltons bandwagon fans, such as "the cars are going faster at the moment as they are lighter on fuel" and "that white stripe indicates the softer tyre choice" every single race! And with what looks like Hamilton set to win the world championship, it's only set to get worse next season! Massa's got nothing to loose, he should just sideline Hamilton in the next two races for everyones benefit!
  8. Agreed! What an absolutely AWESOME race!! other than the result! So glad I decided to wake up early for it! Fantastic drive from Raikonnen, absolute class until the very end! Congrats to Kovalainen aswell! lol at Webber and Vettel! Massa and Kubica, very nice! Can't believe the whole tyre situation with Ferrari! The result could have been very different!
  9. Just watched the ep2, another awesome episode!! Whistler seems like he's going to be a great new character, can see him and Michael being a good team in Sona! Nice return to Michael's 'behind the scenes' prison antics of season 1, where he got the water pipe re-opened and getting it done just in time! Also looks like Surce gonna have to stick around now and hopefully help out in some way. Really enjoying this season so far!
  10. Last time I checked, this... didn't look like this...
  11. New Trailer http://www.gametrailers.com/player/25725.html Infra-red, Nice! Looks like a great variety of action in there!
  12. Glad I didn't have to witness that!I'd watch the ocassional race, but it wasn't until about 1999/2000 that I started watching it properly. There was of course this... Spa 1998: Funniest ever start to a race!
  13. Yeah that was a great race!Fisichella won, but it was awarded to Raikkonen, who then sportingly gave it back to Fisichella! I miss the Austrian Grand Prix, great up and down hill circuit! Anyone remember the classic race from 2002... Must Watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyHzKXtPSIA It was the scene of Schumacher's most embarrasing race! where Barachello let him win as they crossed the line, and led to the introduction of the team orders rules. The embarrasment and awkwardness on the podium if CLASSIC!! Schumacher, shame on you!! The reason that race sticks out in my mind however is for the Heidfeld-Sato crash! It's probably the earliest crash I can still remember clearly to this day! Heldfelds car whips across the corner and collects Sato on the exit! Can you imagine how scary that would be for Sato, just out of nowhere! Big, spectatcular crash!!
  14. I'm definately up for more new exotic tracks all round the world, I just wouldn't want it at the expense of loosing too many of the great circuits we already have, like Australia, Canada, Silverstone, who's future's always seem in doubt! The best solution would be to alternate some circuits like you said, but the problem is they keep extending some of the circuit contracts for years into the future guaranteeing they'll be on the calander! There are definately a few current circuits we could loose! I'm glad San Marino and the USA are gone for now, both very boring circuits! Wouldn't mind loosing France and possibly Spain (now that we have Valencia), to make room for some new circuits. They should increase the calender to 20 races IMO!!
  15. Yeah, it's actually 4 new suits really! They downgrade or upgrade along with the suits in Prime... Varia -> Power -> Varia -> Gravity -> Phazon. Except it's the four suits from Fusion!
  16. Yeah I hope they put a limit on the ammounts of street circuits!Having one made Monaco special, now we have three, which I don't mind so much. Yes it detracts a bit from Monaco's uniqueness, but it's always going to be Monaco! and now we have abit of street circuit variety (and one at night), which is a good thing! But I don't think there should be many, if any, more... There's always talk of what a Vegas Street Circuit would be like, or should Silverstone loose the GP a London Street Circuit! Sure they would be awesome additions, but I'd hate to loose some great classic race track circuits to them! I'm also getting a bit worried about all the new countries and circuits that are future or potentials additions to the calender. 2008 - Singapore 2008 - Valencia Preview Video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B826gRgD-E 2009 - Abu Dhabi [built on Yas Island.] Preview Video - http://www.abudhabigp.com/english/the_circuit.aspx 2010 - India Adu Dhabi could be something special! however... Sure take F1 global, but with that comes more of the 'new' circuits, the Hermann Tilke circuits... and I don't want too many more of those either! I'm some cases they lack a great ammount of character and charm, though I have to say I love the Turkish GP already! Hockenheim shows the importance of character, they took the away the forest section of the track and it went from one of the most memorable circuits, to something average! Yeah I'm definately glad we'll be going back to Suzuka, it's AWESOME!
  17. She doesn't have to be a stunner, but Samus doesn't look old, plus Uma would have to much of a serious/agressive look outside of the suit. Samus always appears calm and in control. As for Donkey Kong... he already has this amazing advert under his belt!
  18. Darn! Decided not to watch the video in the end, but could have done without seeing all the pics on the same page! Media Block-out on this for me now! Let the surprises begin!
  19. To put it mildly!! and she's looking quite old nowadays aswell!
  20. Yeah it's gonna be a new street circuit in Singapore! Also gonna be a second Spanish GP starting next year in Valencia, a street harbourside circuit like Monaco!
  21. Except she doesn't look like Samus! Jessica Alba was quite close to recreating Samus in FF2...
  22. Yeah that's possible! he certainly wanted to keep the reasons quiet! Nikki's gonna be in next weeks episode, dunno about the others but they probably will be as well.
  23. Yeah the slow down for turn 1 and the last section/few corners of the track look to be the best places for overtaking. I'm also loving the downhill sections, starting with the one after turn 1! It's great when tracks go through large elevation changes, with Spa being the best example!
