I'm not going to lie, I've used "Stop Whining!" quite a few times. Also, "You kids are soft, you lack discipline." That's been used. It's a fun game I play in my head. I try to slip in as many Arnie lines as I can, just for my own amusement.

Yeah, I know. But, we also need to be making progress. It appears like we are in this game. -

But like Diageo pointed out, if we investigate you, it risks "outting" an investigator. Or, there's a good chance it'll reveal nothing because of the redirection. It's a slight mess, really. If others want to hold off and go down the investigation route, I'll withdraw my vote. However, I'm worried that the mafia will kill again tonight. That's a concern of mine. -

It's Diageo's post where he mentions that Nefarious doesn't mean violent that edged me towards voting for you. It's just a very particular word that has been chosen, but I believe it was chosen on purpose and for a reason. I've searched for it again on the net and it still brings up negative words. Villainous being one of them. Like The Peeps mentioned, Aqui1a can only stop evil roleblockers. It just seems to make sense to me. If I am wrong, then I am truely sorry. But, just put yourself in this position, and you must admit that it doesn't look good. -

I'm still torn, to be honest. However, like Diageo's post and other information, there just seems to be signs pointing that Mundi isn't good for the town. Saying that, if he's lynched and turns out to be town...then...well...fuck. I'm going to go out on a limb. Vote: Mundi Mundiiii. Hasta La Vista, Baby. (will try so hard not to remove vote) -
Haha, I've given out a fair few detentions already. One of my minions thought it would be hilarious to bury himself in the sandpit... Infractions? I cannae give those out....

Nah, I'm with you there. I feel more at ease with the idea of voting for Mundi than I was voting for Smeagol. Although, I can't help but worry I may be getting the wrong end of the stick or am perhaps looking into it much. Nevertheless...I'm willing to give Mundi some time to post some more information about his character and role. Or at least try to convince us that we've got it wrong. I think until midnight is fair. -
I quite enjoyed Primary School. Mostly because everyone seemed to be friends with each other there, and we used to have great break-times. We didn't have a football, so we used to use a small coca cola bottle, with our jumpers as goalposts. I was goalkeeper. Also, we played on concrete, and I used to love diving about on that. We all felt hardcore. Secondary School started off a bit shitly, before getting better as the years went by. Year 10-onwards was brilliant. Had a great set of mates who I am mostly still friends with, and it started to shape the person I wanted to be. I loved Maths in Primary school, but didn't enjoy it in Secondary, as it seemed to jump up a notch at around year 9. Didn't like that. Didn't seem fun anymore. It was a good experience. Quite a rough-ish school, but I managed alright. Used to get in a few fights, particularly at around year 8. I once had a fight with a kid in my year group because he threw my deodorant can across the yard. I asked him to get it back, he refused, so I gave it to him square in the face. I had a reeeeeeally short temper, although my fuse gradually got longer as each year went by. Also remember having a fight in Year 7 because some prick painted all over my picture.

I dunno, I thought it might be some sort of unwritten game rule or something. (Like, you can discuss the content of the game, but can't question certain things, such as the language used by the creator, possibly). If we're allowed to do that, then I say he's chosen that word on purpose, which leads me (along with the information provided earlier) to believe that he is mafia. Am I making sense, guys? Or am I looking into it too much? -
It's fine everywhere once in a while. But, every thread. You've got to know when to stop. Shit, I've reverted back into teacher mode.

It could be a flavour word. But...that ees one hell of a flavour word. It has some strong meanings to eet. I'm paying particular attention to eet because this ees a very detailed mafia, so I'm assuming the creator (not sure if we're allowed to mention Jonnas or not?) chose that word for a reason, just like everything else has a reason. I'm uncertain, but eet wouldn't surprise me one bit if Mundi was a mafia member. -
I'll be b...... I'M BACK!! (Terminator 5)
Fierce_LiNk replied to Retro_Link's topic in General Chit Chat
Agreed. Anton Yelchin was awesome as Kyle Reese because he behaved in a way similar to Kyle in the first Terminator film. The way he spoke and acted, the guy clearly did his research. Hell, he even looked like Kyle (Michael Biehn) at times. Good bit of casting. -

I remember, dude. I totally agree. I didn't see any reason why anyone would follow him, he just wasn't believable. It could be down to the script, or it could be Bale's performance, or both. There was a lack of conviction in either. Compare that to John Connor (played by Edward Furlong) in T2: That scene is where you think "shit...this kid is actually going to be the leader of the resistance." At that moment, you see it. At no point in T-Salvo do you see that in Bale. There's no passion. -
That game yesterday was arse. Both teams were diving all over the place, trying to stitch each other up. There were maybe 3 good passages of play in the match, and two of those led to Barca goals. As great as Barcelona are, I just cannot love them. There's only a certain amount of times you can pass the ball amongst your back four and central midfielder before you crack. I hate it when United do it, Barca are no exception. Anyway, Arsenal next. Going to the pub to watch it with a friend from work who is an Arsenal fan. Oooooooh.

T-Salvo was ok, but Christian Bale just annoyed me in it. He was a poor John Connor. T3 was trash.Actual trash. It's up there (or down there) with Alien Resurrection as a way to kill a franchise. Don't like the idea of this. -

Nefarious is a very specific word...I just googled it to find it's true meaning. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/nefarious "evil; wicked; sinful [from Latin nefārius, from nefās unlawful deed" That makes me very worried. It just seems like a very particular word to use. A strong one at that. I know it's the freedictionary.com, and maybe I am looking into the word too much, but still. -
What are you complaining about now? The whole point was that Raineeng's Dad must be earning a decent bit of dough if he's paying (not always, sometimes) a grand in tax, which is roughly what I earn. The reply which I gave made that point very clear, in my opinion. It doesn't matter how exactly I said it, whether I gave a short response or a slightly longer one, whether I used the exact amount, or whether I post a vague amount before giving a bit more detail. That doesn't matter, because the point was perfectly made. I initially gave a vague amount, but expanded, because I fucking wanted to.

Well, we're all probably making notes or keeping check in our heads as we go along. So, just because people are not pursuing Smeagol now, it doesn't mean he's completely safe, does it? More information will probably come to light as the game goes on. Later, we might ask him a bunch of questions! And we might want them answered immediately. At the moment, I feel reluctant to vote as I don't really feel sure about Mundi. At the same time, I don't want to run the risk of the bodycount rising because we're not doing anything. This shit is tense. -
Because I typed just over, and then thought that it really could have meant anything, so added the extra part afterwards. What "just over" means to me could be different to what it means to someone else. Also, ultimately, does it matter? The answer: Nooooooopeydooonope. I'll post in the way that I want to, thanks.

It depends what you want to get out of it, Ell. Are you doing this to be fitter, so that you can play sports and stuff for longer (like football, building up your stamina I mean). Are you trying to bulk up? Or tone yourself, slim yourself down, etc. I've been continuing with my current plan of only doing a few exercises (3 usually) and increasing the weight to try and push myself/get stronger. I think it's working so far. I did some deadlifting last week and can now manage 92kg, which I've never done before. Also, I'm trying to go to the gym before work now. I did it yesterday, and it was quieter, which meant I could do all the stuff that I wanted. Plus, it then means my evening is free. Which is nice. Did some shoulder work. They seem to be coming along now, starting to see the roundness a bit more. Arnold Pressing Ftw.

Yeah, 1066 to be exact. (Battle of Hastings, only reason I can remember that exact number. ) So yeah, just over a grand. Which, isn't an awful lot. But then, better than being unemployed and being on a supply teacher's wage which I was on last year, which fluctuates and isn't "safe" to live off since you don't know how much you'll be getting.
-
He might not be hugely rich, but still...I only just earn over a grand a month. (After tax). And by just, we're only talking 60 quid. So, he must have been earning a fair bit if he's paying almost as much in tax as I make. Tax sucks, but it has to be done, unfortunately. I'm sure there are many people who would love to be in a position that you find yourself in.

Gonna throw this out there: Smeagol, what did you do last night? Doublepost: Fuck, I misread Diageo's post on the previous page. I read it as "why did you protect Smeagol, Dannyboy" when it was "why did you protect dannyboy, Smeagol." Ignore my question. -

This is probably a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. If that's his objective, then why does he also have a protection power? It seems like quite a contradictory power.
