  1. Nobody is guaranteed to go up, I reckon. Seahawks look like they could be contenders, too. So, that's five teams. I've not gone through a slump yet, although I started off slow. A slump is possible. I think the team is ready to go up. They seem to be gelling together really well. For the first time, I look at that midfield and I feel confident. They are maturing. At the same time, I am worried about finances.
  2. Both of these are very true and piss me off...also. Another one: People who go to the gym in groups of about 3 or more. They take it in turn to do the exact same exercise and spend a good five mins in between each "go" to talk to each other. Gym in Newport was stupid. There was always this particular guy who would find somebody he knew and would spend all this time talking to them. In the time he's taken to speak to them, I've done my entire workout and am heading for the shower. I must seem anti-social when I go there. Anyway, bought some dumbells, a barbell and some weights for usage at home. Will be used to get in some bicep/tricep exercises when I'm struggling for time to get to the gym, as well as other things. Already looking at getting some extra weights for it next month, maybe.
  3. I don't think it's really offensive to think that. I'm having a discussion with Ine about it right now. What exactly counts as consent? "How drunk" was the girl? Were the men drunk, too? There's a lot of questions there. The whole thing is pretty seedy, though. They booked a room with the intention of finding a girl to have sex with and filmed the thing. It's shameful, so I don't really have any sympathy for the men.
  4. Christ, can't believe that. I half expected this to be brushed under the carpet. Why did the other guy get acquitted?
  5. But they didn't take their chances. If this, if that. The fact is that Chelsea won the game and their tactics worked. The players got close to Messi and every now and again it will result in a foul. What are they supposed to do? Let him run through on goal? Well, why didn't Chelsea deserve to win? They had one chance, scored it, and defended well for the rest of the game. Would you rather create 10 chances and not score, or create one and bury it? Barca's defending for the goal was disgraceful considering how good the entire team is. They over-committed going forward, lost the ball cheaply, let the ball roll into the box, left Drogba virtually unmarked...It's terrible whichever way you look at it. In other news, very happy that Fergie has come out and said that he has spoken to Ashley Young about recent events.
  6. Massive, massive win today. Biggest of the season because: 1. It's against a rival. 2. He is the only person to have beaten me so far. 3. I had two of my three main defenders out injured. I had thought of playing one of them, seeing as they were both lightly injured and would be fit by tomorrow. But, I decided against it. Went for an attacking line up as attack is the best form of defence. Paid off big time. Haden, you gave me a scare when you went 1-0 up. I was bricking it. But, what a great comeback. So proud. Elitechester City keep winning games, though. Somebody needs to stop them.
  7. How is it embarrassing? They got very tight to Barcelona, stopped Messi, Xavi and Iniesta from having a bigger impact on the game (this seems to have by-passed most people) and managed to get a goal in the process. Look at the bigger picture. This is a team who have struggled in England. They have sacked their manager and have a temporary one in place. They are nowhere near challenging for the title this season and it is a distinct possibility that they won't be playing Champions League Football next season. Or, they might not even get into Europe at all. Their squad has faced criticism for having too many over the hill players. For this team, given how they have performed this year in the domestic league and the troubles that they have had, getting a 1-0 against Barcelona at home is a massive, massive result. This is one of those situations where the end justifies the means. If they had given Barcelona more space and tried to out-play them, I can assure you that the score-line would have been completely different. Also, attacking and defending Barcelona for 90 minutes is not easy. Players become very tired and will lose concentration. They are the best attacking team in the world. I don't really see what they did wrong. They had a method to neutralise the midfield of Barcelona, which worked for the majority of the game. This is why Fabregas was at the end of some of those chances and not Iniesta or even Messi. They were marked out of the game. Something that has been grossly overlooked by people. Yes, they only had the one shot, but they chose the right time to attack and it paid off. It was far, far clearer than anything of Barcelona's chances on the night. This is getting pretty boring now and I feel dirty for defending Chelsea.
  8. Yes, it is highly embarrassing to take a 1-0 lead to the Nou Camp. Chelsea should have played an all out offensive game. Getting hammered 5-0 would have been less embarrassing for the fans. Wake up.
  9. Seriously in love with this. I'm using the "pass and move"...thing very often now and very fluidly. I do prefer to do it by holding A and B and pointing rather than doing the whole point dribbling thing. Seems to work better for me. Won the English League with United, and then lost the Cup to City in a penalty shootout. Bastards. I have a question about some of the options in the game. I seem to have "unlocked" snow weather effects through the league, but it only works at night-time. Does it only work then? Also, for home and away attendance, I can only at the moment select 1 or 2. Is there a way to increase this? Just curious.
  10. The same amount as you've won against me this season. Time will tell. Dragooooo will be lifting that trophy on the last day of the season. I would love it if we could win the league at your place. Just so I could drink Elite-tears. It's what I have for breakfast. lololo I'm going to get bum raped by Haden tomorrow. I just know it. The downward spiral will then commence.
  11. Yeah, it really gives you that sense of accomplishment when you see changes like that. It's what keeps me going really. I'm going to buy some dumbells/barbell tomorrow as I think I need to do some stuff at home, too. For those days where you get home from work, are pretty tired, but still feel bad for not doing some exercise. Find it difficult to slip in some bicep/tricep work these days due to just not having the time. This should help a lot.
  12. Well done, dude. A very noticeable difference. Particularly in the face.
  13. What about them? We know Barca create chances. Every team will create chances, it happens in football. The important fact is that Chelsea defended well for the majority of the game and that even when Barca had "open goals", they fucked up due to the Chelsea box being overloaded and players putting them off. They had to rush their shots due to the little time they had. Barca play like that the whole time. They will boss games, so on that basis they deserve to win every single game that they play in right? No. Teams know that the only way to win is to soak up the pressure, frustrate Barca and then hit them on the counter. Inter beat Barca over two legs, particularly doing well with this tactic in the second leg. The stats will say that Barca have had loads of possession and shots, etc, but you'd expect that. The fact is that, in these types of games, Barca will always end up on top of the possession stats. No team will go and attack them or try to outplay them. It would be like trying to attack a missile with a frying pan. If Chelsea had done that, they would have been humiliated last night and would be out of the tie. Instead, they now go into the second leg with a 1-0 lead and Barca have no away goal. Maybe it's anti-football, but there's very little else they could've done. Anyway, it is funny that Wii has dodged Ell's question about who he supports, and I wouldn't expect a Liverpool fan to agree with the points of a Chelsea supporter.
  14. Another Call of Duty game is exactly what the market needs. Gamers have been craving a game of this type for some time.
  15. You had listed your gender as "penis", and I got very frightened.
  16. I joined an internet dating site once. Was really weird. You get all sorts there. Place was called N-Europe.
  17. I inhale before moving with the deadlift, so when I'm in the starting stance. Then, when moving, I exhale. Kinda like bench pressing, where you exhale as you push with the bar. That's what I do. Not entirely sure if there's even a certain way of doing it, as long as your not inhaling and exhaling whilst screeching from your testicles.
  18. Seriously, you don't think Chelsea defended well? The only time they left their guard down resulted in the shot which hit the bar in the first half. Everything after that was handled pretty well. Bar the opportunity at the end which hit the post, Chelsea probably defended as well as was possible against such a strong attacking team. What would you have done in their position, out of curiosity? Which team do you support?
  19. Pretty sure the pitch at Stamford Bridge is a lot narrower. Barca will have an advantage because of their crowd and being used to the pitch and conditions. They'll have much more space to move around. Barca did look like they struggled slightly due to the pitch size, imo. They couldn't drift players out wide and get behind Chelsea, which worked to their advantage. It meant they could defend narrowly and force Barca through the middle, which the likes of Mikel, Terry and Cahill defended really well.
  20. @Wii Why do Barca deserve to win that game and Chelsea do not? Where does this notion come from that a team must pass their opponent to death in order to be superior and win games? I love attacking football. Barca are at their best when they carve opponents apart and (and this is the important bit) when they finish their chances. The stats yesterday regarding Barca's passing is ridiculous. Something like 700+ passes. That's fantastic. It's brilliant to pass the ball that many times, but ultimately it means nothing. I thought Barca were below par yesterday in terms of attacking their opponent. Too many opportunities wasted. Quite unlike them. They are a very good team and you have to play intelligently to beat them. Chelsea did that. The midfield, particularly Ramires and Mikel did a fantastic job of moving the ball quickly and shielding the back four. I thought Cahill and Cole were outstanding and put in some amazing tackles. Passing is an art, but so is defending and yesterday we saw some fantastic defending. If you leave too many gaps, Barca will destroy you. Even yesterday, they had the potential to tear Chelsea to pieces, but Chelsea denied them the opportunity to move and create more clear cut chances. They did create some good chances, but they didn't finish them. Best move of the night? The one that led to the Chelsea goal. Required only about four or five touches, it was in a forward direction that caught Barca off guard and it ended up in the back of the net. Put it this way, the history books will say that Chelsea won the game 1-0. If Chelsea do the same again, they're through. As much as I dislike them, they have to be given credit, as it was a great team defensive performance.
  21. Well done, darlingk. Knew you could do eet.
  22. When last I looked, it was Dragooooo who were top of the league, and not the number two team in Elitecester. You will forever be in our shadow. We are the almighty Drachester Gooooonited. WE'LL DO WHAT WE WANT WE'LL DO WHAT WE WAAAAAANNNT WE'RE THE MIGHTY DRAGOOOOO WE'LL DO WHAT WE WANT
  23. Yeah, agree with this. Although, I was half expecting it anyway, after Miyamoto's revelation that he has moved the project from Wii to WiiU.
  24. What a massive result today. I set my tactics and was sure I'd get beaten. It's a great rush to see Dragooooo at the top of the league. Well played, Zell. Good games and you really had me thinking right up until the very last second before kick off. I won't tell you how long it took me to prepare for these games, which shows that I respect you as an opponent.
  25. It's actually a really good formation, and can be used for attack or defence. It more or less relies on that sweeper between the two centre-backs. It's something that isn't really done these days. Teams just tend to play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.
