No word of a lie, that injury time felt like absolute torture. Felt so sick watching it! Can't believe what I just watched...how the hell did we win that game AND go through?! Amazing, amazing, amazing! Think I woke the neighbours when Rashford scored that penalty. Could barely watch it. I love this game!

It was quite a frustrating game to watch and I imagine that it drove you around the bend. Nothing much of note happened, but it wasn't quite boring. The game badly needed a goal. I think both sides could still be there right now and wouldn't be getting any clear shots off.

It was a fantastic and very open game. I have to feel a little for Southampton because they did deserve to come away with something, but I thought United's attacking play in the second half was very good. Pereira looks like a good player and I loved Dalot's contributions in the second half. A lot of quality goals in the game and it surely has to go down as a Premier League classic. Can see them replaying that one on tv/internet for a long time. I'm worried about the amount of injuries we seem to be picking up. Martial, Mata, Herrera, Sanchez, Lingard. They're all our attacking players, too. I made a little prediction with @Eenuh a while ago that Lukaku would go through a slump but would then re-find his form in the final part of the season. Hope he hits it now! Yesterday was a good indication.

That series ticked all the boxes for me. Interesting premise, short enough to binge, great characters, banging soundtrack and a satisfying ending. Loved it, tbh.

I know nothing about this game and will openly say that I can't even be bothered to get excited by it. But, there's a part of me that wants to see it make the greatest comeback of 2019 and succeed. It probably maybe definitely won't, but I need a new game to believe in. It's the underdog. Ok, maybe EA aren't ever really underdogs, but still. I want to believe.

Still annoyed that Into the Spider-verse only got nominated for Best Animated, rather than Best Picture. Think it deserved to be there ahead of Black Panther, personally. Animations are looked down upon as inferior. Anyway, apparently the Oscars now suck due to Green Book winning. I know nothing about the film, so can't comment.

Most exciting thing to happen in that dire game. Disgraceful from Kepa. If the manager says that you're coming off, you're coming off. Hope the club takes action against him and that the higher-ups in Chelsea support Sarri on this one.

Both teams defended really well. Shaw or Lindelöf for man of the match. Overall, a 0-0 is probably about right, as there weren't really that many chances created by either side. The messy first half substitutions pretty much took all of the flow out of the game. Would have loved a last minute United winner, but it wasn't to be. Not really enough from the attacking players today, from both sides. Liverpool did well to come away without a loss, but I don't think they did enough to win it either. Over the course of the season, that point may prove to be important.

Even if United go on to lose this game, they've done ok considering the circumstances. We are definitely in this game.

It's crazy. Thought Robertson was going to come off as he took a tumble. Never seen a game like this! No subs in this second half...I still fancy us to nick a goal from a corner or something. Orrrrr, it'll be settled by a deflected effort, or something daft like that. It's that kind of game.

Jeremy Hunt's Slovenia gaffe I love the response: Eeeek.

The number of players that they have out on loan is staggering. I'm not a fan of the way that they abuse this system and it actually weakens the league as a whole, in my opinion. Wonder if anything will ever be done about it. If he wants to leave (which I think he does) because he wants to play abroad or if he wants to be competing for trophies, such as the Champions League, then Chelsea will have to offer him a huuuuge deal to keep him. They won't lose him on a free because...that's a very Arsenal thing to do. He'll either go this season, or they'll get him to sign a big deal and he'll go later on. They won't lose a player of his quality for free.

Really? But there's tons of time between now and the Summer window...Surely the appeal can get sorted out quickly for the ban to come in place for this Summer's window. If the ban doesn't start this Summer window, then Chelsea can just go out and stock up on loads of players. It just seems really silly and not very well thought out. Hazard is your best player by quite some distance. Sure, they could sell him now and get the money to use on other players, but really Chelsea need to be tying him down to a longer deal and bringing players in to work alongside Hazard. There are several others who do need moving on, but Hazard is essential, imo.

Miss World is literally a beauty contest though. I feel like it's one of the few times it's ok to criticise someone's appearance? Fair point, probably a bad example on my part. I've ordered a weight rack, but it hasn't arrived yet. A bit tired of having these plates all over the place, so trying to be a bit more organised.

Who gets to decide if it's time wasting or not? If the opportunity is there to appeal, then it's absolutely fair that a club is able to have their say and they should be able to do this in any manner that they wish. The idea of punishing a club further after an appeal is ludicrous, imo. Guess this means that Hazard won't be transferred to Madrid as they won't be able to get a replacement. That's a plus for Chelsea, I guess.
-
I imagine that the ban will be reduced/gotten rid of entirely through appeal. Speaking of appeals: why is it that a club can receive a further punishment if they choose to appeal? Where is the actual logic in that? Seems incredibly unfair to me.

Not really sure what to think of this Independent Group at all. Time will tell if other members of Labour and the Conservatives leave to join them. But, at the moment, it just seems like an idea that has been said out loud without really having any thought into what the idea itself actually really is or how it's going to work. A bit like Brexit.

Don't hold back, Kav. Tell us how you really feel.

Radical idea: why doesn't Sarri play with both Jorginho and Kante in a midfield 2, then go with a main striker and then play 3 behind. So, 4-2-3-1, instead of the 4-3-3 that he's playing? It would put Kante in a more natural position and would allow him to do more of the much needed defensive work. Good managers are adaptable. Tbf, Chelsea probably got him because they've hired and fired for so long and he's just the next one on the list. He won't be there for too long and the cycle will just continue. Who will be the next one after Sarri? There's a very short term culture at the club where plans seemingly only exist or run on two year cycles. With the static players, that's a coaching issue and it's down to Sarri to get his players to do that, and also for the players to be receptive to his methods and what he wants them to do. To an extent, you need the right kind of players who are technically capable of doing what the manager wants. This is what transfer windows are for. The youth situation is one that has existed for ages at that club and it doesn't seem to be resolving itself all that well.

Congratulations, @nightwolf! Very happy for you.

As it's at Anfield, I fully expect Liverpool to win 2-0 or something to that effect. Not sure about the away tie, though. It'll be close, I think. Yeah, I've taken him out of my Fantasy team as he hasn't been doing the business for a while. Shame, really. I think it all stems from Jorginho. Basically... 1. Ditch Jorginho 2. Put Kante back in his spot. 3. ??? 4. Profit. You need to find some awesomely creative, goalscoring midfielders from somewhere.

Looks lovely. Sounds lovely, too. Lovely/10.

Hazard is an excellent player and Chelsea will be so much weaker if he does leave at the end of the season. I think he will go, tbh. He's not going to be challenging for trophies in this Chelsea team. I still can't get over Sarri moving Kante into a different position. It was so easy for the United team to run rings around Jorginho yesterday. Herrera had the time of his life and probably one of his best games for us. A proper Spanish Roy Keane. I really like Higuain but I'm not sure how Chelsea are going to provide him enough service to get goals. If you crowd out Hazard and also block off Alonso, there's almost no service to the attacking line.

Excellent win for United against Chelsea. Defensively, I thought the team were rock solid and I actually can't remember the last time we won away there. Two great goals and a fantastic pair of performances from Pogba and Herrera. Delighted with that! Not too happy about drawing Wolves away in the next round. It's going to be a hard game.

Nice impressions, @Hero-of-Time. I loved the reboot and Rise felt like a nice evolution on it. They're both great games and are just very satisfying to play. Will have to get onto Shadow at some point. Tomb Raider is a little unlucky that it exists in an era with the Uncharted games. They almost steal each other's thunder at times, although I guess the aim of both is slightly different.
