I've done many things in work that ive done in college, on a set timescale, so honestly its definitely required. And it teaches the importance of deadlines...you might get a second chance in uni but by fuck you don't in the real world

Yeah it sucks, i'm not blaming students by any means, but it is a bit pointless. And i've seen you mention how pisspoor some of the lecturers actually are. Doesn't make me want to have a degree at all. I've got 5 years experience under my belt, with a reasonable job. It sickens me a bit to see grads working in shops and doing menial office work... It seems the only viable degrees out there are health professionals, which take many many years to complete.

Damn right, I don't want to pay freakin £40 for a season box set! Or £30 for a movie on dvd. A lot of bands make their money on promos and gigs anyway.. Which the "illegal downloaders" go to as much as the purchasers. If I really like a band, (like say Muse) i'll download their cd, but go out and buy it to support them, even if it is pittance they get..

When natural light gives you a headache Geeky white skin.... I've yet to meet anyone who can beat mine - despite having ludicrous amounts of sunbeds (for medical therapy not cosmetic) my skin just burns and goes red, then dies. b00. My mum even made a joke about it When you find yourself writing work emails/anything electronic and putting a LOL or ^_^ -
You don't see many record labels going out of business, do you?

Yes that would be fairer, but still crappy nonetheless. I've seen the sort of money my dad pays in tax (40% super tax!), and he has minimal "use", private pension, private healthcare, etc. Whereas i pay comparably nothing, but probably take my equivalent net wage from the government in health costs.. It'll never be 100% fair, but gotta get a bit of damage control in there somewhere.
-
no tax bracket should be over 50%. Getting less than half of what you earn is unfair. People in 100k jobs are under stress and make big decisions, so they've every right to a fair sum, as much as a person on min wage. I'd be mortified if I earned 100k and was expected to pay 60k of it in income tax!!!

Couldn't agree more, an impartial explanation would be brilliant, then people would actually know who to vote for.. Especially in this country, politics is messyyy.

It feeels like years since the last really epic power struggle fight featuring ichigo! (late 160s right?!) I lolled at the end of the episode with ichigo having been written out of the program. Bah you silly japanese writers! Bring on tomorrowwwww. ^_^ No doubt they'll stretch this battle over another 50 episodes...

And hit the books for your theory test :P Heck I still stall my car, on rare occasions. I saw someone else stall a few days ago - made me feel so much better bahahaha.

The few lines he had about there not being any more time lords was badly done. It was like he wasn't really affected by it at all, or was hiding. Tennant developed the emotion with so much grief, sadness and raw honesty. Like on the Mars episode when you saw how cut he was when he realised he was alone again.

You get plenty of benefits for having kids and being single... working tax credit, child support... If I lived on my own I'd be entitled to NO benefits. Surely the people like that (single, no kids, working full time) would be as just to recieve benefits? The ones who are hugely giving to society by actually working, and paying taxes. And in the most part don't claim a lot off the state in medical needs. A person can bring up kids as a single parent just as well as two can... It's just parental laziness that turns children into these antisocial monsters.
