Why does it use the old Sonic engine from Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog though? It obvious it does from those shots, that's a bit of a bummer. Great news I guess, but wasn't Nights just a cult game but it not anything revolutionary, just very good, I think some people are getting their hopes up. I'm still undecided whether I should be excited about this or not.

Finally watched the trailer. Yet another reason why I'm getting a 360. Damn, Halo 3, Galaxy, Brawl, Prime 3 and this, it's gonna be one hell of a Christmas this year.

The A-Bomb is what really ended the war though, Japan surrendered and then Germany did because they feared the same fate as Nagasaki and Hiroshima. If the A-Bomb wasn't invented then today would be very different, I'm not saying that German wouldn't have lost but the war would have definately lasted longer, so your comparison is kinda sucky.

Wasn't Yamuachi the idiot that also messed up Nintendo's relations with Squaresoft back in 90s? Probably the reason why he made that RPG comment. I like Iwata for what he's done for the company and the Japanese industry but still, it seems like the only new IPs we'll ever see out of Nintendo again will be for casual gamers. The only 'Touch Generations' game I ever bought was Nintendogs and I thought it was crap, Brain Training and the others don't warrant the price IMO. I like the new Nintendo, and I'm starting to hate it too at the same time.

As fun as meeting up with a bunch of people I don't know somewhere far away all by myself for a bit of overnight fun sounds, I think I'll give it a miss.

PS3 has LittleBigPlanet, WarHawk, Tekken 6, Final Fantasy XIII (and Versus), MGS4, White Knight Story, Heavenly Sword and Heavy Rain. And maybe even the next Kingdom Hearts. The 360 has good exclusives, but so does the PS3 and both consoles share many good titles aswell; DMC4 and GTA4. The two are very even, so when decisions boil down to tastes there isn't really much people can say to change other's minds, so even though you think 360 would be the better way to go Takeo, it really is up to what ZeldaFreak likes or whatever he's more familiar with. I have this same problem at the moment too; do I get a 360 or save up for a bit longer and get a PS3?

Sadly friend codes have been confirmed by a lot of people, even a Nintendo Spokesman, it looks like they're here to stay.

I don't think there is anything to worry about, the 360 had a drought this time last year, it was still getting beaten by the PS2 and DS but now things are looking up for the console now. Even though the Wii is a bit crap right now and the competition is still very tough, Nintendo could still pull it out of the bag like with the DS. Remember during the early months of 2005 and everyone was saying the PSP was gonna trash the DS because it had no good games? Look at it now. These things aren't predictable though, it's either gonna be good, or bad....

That's wierd, I love this game, it's really fun and em-powering to play, with all the control and customisation I have over my characters it's given me a God complex. Seriously the story ain't that bad, I've noticed that sometimes a lot of the characters emotions are sometimes conveyed through actions, or without text at all, a big difference from before and this would have been impossible on pre-PS2 Final Fantasies.
