  1. Highlight for me was Inside (sequel to Limbo)
  2. The point is controversial Zelda art style isn't a problem. Nintendo knows best when it comes to visuals, not whining fanboys like at the time of the Wind Waker reveal.
  3. Yes because the last time a Zelda game had a controversial art style it turned out sooo badly didn't it.
  4. My point was more that Nintendo isn't going to devalue their current and future Mario games by opening up this can of worms. NOT that people won't be able to make decent levels. Having said that drawing a picture on Miiverse is a little different to creating well designed levels.
  5. The N64 Rainbow Road is simply stunning, if waaay too short. I haven't played the MK8 Rainbow Road yet but I get the impression it won't be anywhere near as good. Sherbert Land was the most forgettable, nothing course ever. As if the courses weren't wide enough in the game already, that track just took the piss.
  6. Would it really be that much fun? Regardless, I don't think Nintendo would ever do something like this anyway. I get the impression making this would be like them shouting from the rooftops that "anyone can make Super Mario levels" when in fact, they can't, not to the same quality as Nintendo at least. I can't see Ninty belittling the work their expert game designers do.
  7. It sounds more like a return to skill based racing rather than the free for all power-up lottery that made MKWii such a flukey mess.
  8. Not sure how it looks like a toy. It's the artwork for Villager from Smash Bros. Hence the Smash Bros logo on the bottom right.
  9. It is funny how exact that Mario Paint font matches up, hmmmm.... edit: actually no not that exact
  10. I don't think the font is a big problem, the usual Mario writing would look terrible on that 8 bit screen.
  11. Coins on top of a cloud doesn't seem very Nintendo + that hand looks really weird. Longest thumb ever?
  12. Can't decide between a digital or physical copy. Animal Crossing is the only digital game I got and I figured it made sense for that. edit: Download it is!
  13. Mount Wario is amazing. I'd love for more tracks to be single lap if the above is any indication of quality.
  14. You mean the Villager artwork from Smash Bros? Next to the Pikachu from Smash and the Kirby from Smash? Look in the bottom right of each of those pics, you can see the SSB logo
  15. How does that photo indicate Animal Crossing U? They've clearly put up three pics of Smash Bros characters. The one closest to the camera was probably Link and they photoshop-ed that Mario Maker graphic on instead. Having said that it does sound like a legit idea for a "game".
  16. Hope he's alright and it's just stress related.
  17. Thanks for that, ideally I'd like to play the first two but not having a PC, PS3 or 360 there's not much I can do there. I don't normally play these kind of games, I mostly stick to Ninty 1st party ones, but I'm tempted by this and AC3 which I also bought for £4 on Wii U. Seemed to good a deal to pass up.
  18. Sorry for the bump, but I just picked this up on Wii U for £8 and was wondering, is it a problem that I haven't played 1 or 2? Basically I only own Nintendo consoles and a Mac (which ME doesn't run on) so I can't really play the first two. Does the game do a good job of explaining the storyline of the first two games or does it just assume you've played them? What about all the decisions you have to make in the first two games, how does the Wii U game handle that?
  19. Shouldn't reviews be up by now? It's out tomorrow!
  20. Do you get any reward for 3-star-ing every cup? (no details pls, unless the reward is a stamp!)
  21. These are all very good things IMO.
  22. Way too many blue shells even in 50cc GP, just stupid.
  23. I can't see them ditching the Gamepad, it wouldn't be a good idea at all. If anything their new games will be much more pad-focused.
