  1. I'm curious what part of the trailer confirmed the presence of an underground world to explore to you? I can't imagine they'd spend all this time and effort on an overworld, making it such a vast beautiful place to explore, and then also have a second land underground. They should just focus on the one and make it the best they possibly can.
  2. I struggle to get into RPGs but I think I'll give Fantasy Life a chance. I like the Animal Crossing influences and the fact that the battles aren't turn based.
  3. Played the SNES original but I've never played F-Zero GX, I get the impression I'm missing a decent title
  4. Possibly one or two things they didn't notice the "face" in the arrow though, double
  5. IGN's rewind theatre could learn a lot from these guys, amazing work once again.
  6. Fantasy Life is 26 September for Europe, we get a month before the US
  7. Why do they need to be crossed off? It was the first time we'd seen gameplay footage of either. I just think 2014 has some great titles like Splatoon and Captain Toad. 2013 had the big hitters + great 3DS content like Pokemon and A Link Between Worlds. If last year's games had been in this year's format, it would have been amazing. Don't get me wrong I loved Nintendo's E3 this year but I think people are being a little unfair on their showing last year.
  8. Yoshi and Hyrule Warriors weren't revealed here and Bayonetta + the Miyamoto stuff hardly counts :P But I take your point, I forgot about Devil's Third and the party stuff from both years.
  9. I really wish I hadn't wasted my money on this. It was a lot of fun the first two days but by the third I was really bored with it. Oh well. Not for everyone it seems.
  10. I wonder how they'll be used in Yoshi's Wooly World and especially Captain Toad!
  11. We'd seen a few renders of Wind Waker but gameplay wasn't actually shown off until E3. Let's compare the reveals: 2013: Mario 3D World, Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong TF, The Wind Waker, X 2014: Zelda U, Splatoon, Captain Toad, Kirby, Mario Maker I know which year I prefer
  12. Thanks I know, I was just teasing
  13. Hang on a second....... There's no voice chat in MK8??
  14. It most definitely wasn't, IMO. Last year for instance, was better I think. 3D World, Smash, MK8, Donkey Kong, Wind Waker, Pokemon, A Link Between Worlds, X They had a fantastic E3, especially in terms of coverage, but if we had last year's games with this year's format it would have been even more glorious. I was a little disappointed with the software this year. Loads of great looking titles, but it was short one major one.
  15. What terrible lighting, that was so horribly unscripted, they should have figured out what they were going to say beforehand. Some of them aren't even looking at the correct camera! Terrible. [/Ashley]
  16. Missed opportunity, he should have worn his Metroid pin in that clip. As if he hasn't trolled us enough.
  17. Will Aonuma's trolling never end!!!! http://kotaku.com/zelda-boss-on-majoras-mask-remake-i-hear-the-fans-1590131910
  18. I wish they had a dedicated amiibo game lined up to use them. I'm sure they're working on it but it just seems like they could have waited before releasing the figures.
  19. £10 per figure would be nice. I wonder if they'll release non Smash Bros amiibos. What would the difference be between the Smash Bros Kirby and the Kirby U Kirby for instance.
  20. So what do we think, £15 per figure?
  21. For 20+ hours of live broadcasting it's been pretty great I think. If we're nitpicking about the occasional mic issue between games then that says it all.
  22. For live broadcasts I think they've done very well. Plus somehow it's much more fun knowing it's live IMO, it's like you're there at the show watching them.
  23. For people who watch it from start to finish maybe but I missed the original demo of Yoshi's Wooly World so I'm looking forward to catching it again after X...
