Well this made my week. So chuffed to finally have it announced. I need that special edition but I agree, such a shame the pin badge isn't full colour Lovely box art though. They probably knocked this out quick. making it full HD on Wii U would have taken too many resources away from Zelda U. Plus handheld pick up and play Zelda is a great way to play surely? Apt for such a bizarre game then

Fantastic Direct. Majora's Mask 3D, ABOUT F-ING TIME!!!! Shovel Knight sneaky release straight afterwards, nice! MK8 DLC looks brilliant Splatoon looks absolutely fantastic, single player campaign looks crazy Captain Toad too, though I can't believe they spoiled 70 levels?! Great that they brought the release date forward a little. I still think the 3DS release schedule is looking a little empty next year but I'm sure we'll get a big Direct early 2015 with a few new games. Very very happy with that. Great to see Iwata back (LOL at the moon approaching him)

Why announce Majora's Mask 3D when Aonuma can troll us for another year

Yeah hopefully the 3DS showing won't be inundated with the usual RPGs and not much else. I'd love another Mario 3D Land style game, though I realise that's unlikely.

Mario Kart is a huge brand name, it's what sells. They should leave it well enough alone, even if they do plan on diversifying it to all Nintendo IP.

Such a shame this game isn't getting more love on here, while the likes of COD 16, FIFA 23 and Generic Shooter 19 get hundreds of posts. Anywho, I think I'll be picking up an Oculus DK2 for this tried it at EGX and the experience was amazing, even if the res wasn't great.

I play as my Mii quite a bit actually as it seems to have the best stats, so I'm chuffed with this. A lot of people will still complain though obviously. "Why can't I play as Captain Falcon in MK8?!!?" etc etc

Some nice and totally justified Wii U love from IGN. 13:05 in... Especially liked them commenting on the PS4's barebones library of games and how the Wii U clearly has the best catalogue of games of the three new gen systems.

I can't believe how bad the Wii U board game mode looks. Smash Run seems ten times more fun.

I actually think the Link one will be the most disappointing. The face looks very pale and nondescript, he's looking down, the horrible support stand etc. I imagine Toon Link will look much better

I pre-ordered the original 12 to keep in their boxes. Getting an extra Mario (for Smash), Yoshi (for Yoshi) + Link and Villager and probably a couple others lol. What about Wart?!

I don't actually care how much memory is onboard, as you say it is in no way interesting. I was just making an unfunny joke at @Wii's expense, who was moaning about us not knowing that particularly useless detail.

The placement is unfortunate but I'm far more annoyed about the colour of the stand, wtf were they thinking not making it clear plastic. Of course that all pales into insignificance when you consider the most pressing concern about these things, the detail with which we cannot live without for much longer.... HOW MUCH MEMORY DOES IT HAVE ONBOARD!!!!111

If that graph is to be believed it looks like there are more pre-orders for OR/AS than there were for X/Y?! Am I reading it right? That seems pretty incredible considering this is a remake. I would have thought there would have been much more hype for X and Y.

Someone please tell @Wii that a nifty nicely-designed Nintendo figurine is just a tad better than an SD card, and that you're paying mostly for the figure, not the implementation. Who gives a @£$% how much memory is in them?!? Your arguments are so tedious.
