Yeah I wouldn't bother making much either it'd be all about playing others' creations. I guess they would use Miiverse to implement it.

I know how much you love other people using Simpsons gags against you.
-
Yeah fingers crossed it's done well then. On a separate note, could you wall jump in NSMBU? They showed off that mechanic and it wasn't in any of the other three games?
-
I can't quite believe you're in your 30s, it makes it even harder to take any of your posts seriously. Especially the ones that keep claiming I'm on your ignore list.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

I really liked the slow motion aspect, though the effect probably went a little too far, would look cooler not being quite that slow. It reminds me of the slow motion finish to the E3 trailer, I wonder if Link being able to slow down time is this game's hook via the use of some magical device or whatever. Could make for some cool puzzles. At least we know there'll be a day/night cycle. Can't believe they ditched that for Skyward Sword. -
I guess given how Assault apart, Starfox games can usually be completed pretty quickly, it does make a lot of sense for yearly updates.

I must have missed that, Nintendo talked about episodic content at E3?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

I'm kind of getting TP/SS vibes from this new game's engine which is a shame, I wish they could have done one from the ground up like Wind Waker's. You can already predict exactly how Link will move and control. I never played Skyrim, is there something to do all over the overworld? (apart from baddies to kill) -
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

2015 is going to be incredible for the Wii U, so many quality exclusives on the way. But that's all it is at this point, visuals and scope. Still 90% of the game to get right, that's what'll make it a great Zelda game, not nice graphics. I wish they just called the sailcloth the Deku Leaf, miniscule nitpick but I'd much rather it retained the magic of Wind Waker than the ho-hum of Skyward Sword's "sail cloth". -
2015 is going to be immense for a Nintendo fan. So many great games coming out. Don't forget him stinking up the amiibo thread every other day. Him complaining we didn't know how much memory was onboard was a particular highlight.

I think Miyamoto is in a slightly better place to say when the game will be ready. They wouldn't make a point of bringing up the quick release of both this and Zelda if they then couldn't deliver. They would have just kept quiet. And when have they ever hinted about episodic content? That doesn't sound like something they would do for such a major game.

Great spot, I wonder if the physics will be changed between styles. They're pretty painful in SMB these days. This game's quality will hinge on whether they put in an online marketplace for people to share their creations. I can't imagine it won't happen but hopefully it will be well implemented, ie voting for the best levels etc.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

Would a real life land of Hyrule really have points of interest every 20 paces or so? I agree the world looks a little dead but at the same time, surely that's what exploring a vast world would actually be like. You alone in this giant world getting from place to place. Think Lord of the Rings, desolate expanses of land between locations. I think this overworld will be quite similar to the one in Wind Waker, just with Epona instead of a boat to get you from place to place, with obviously a few things dotted around in between. Hold your hands up and accept defeat like a man Your opinion. You personally not liking a game doesn't mean it was rushed. -

They made a point of saying it will be 2015, I believe it. The overworked did look empty but then again, real life lands like that wouldn't have something to do in every square metre. -
Nice one Ninty. Looked stunning!

Yeah the production values of the show are great this year. I don't normally get my hopes up for things like this but I'm getting more and more convinced they'll show another look at Zelda U. Human Element, I thought ooh a motorbike racer, but no it soon turned into a FPS. Great win for Shovel Knight!

Struggling to stay awake, hope this Nintendo stuff is worth it. It feels like 90% of big AAA games these days are either fantasy kill-a-thons or shooters. So dull. (IMO)

Very well deserved Developer of the Year award, though I thought they were better in 2013. Pikmin, Mario 3D World, Mario Kart, Zelda ALBW......

Wahay a war shooter. Pass.

...we're blokes feeling powerless and compelled to buy little figurines of princesses dressed in pink?

Shame about being able to buy the rare items in the upgraded shop, does sound like it cheapens things a bit. Yeah I was going to finish the main story then buy the DLC? Unless buying it before that is best.

Great news that these seem to be flying off the shelves, wouldn't you say @Wii. I'm certainly very happy with the ones I've gotten so far. Just Peach and Kirby to get. Well done Ninty, great to see a major product of theirs in demand and sold out on Amazon again.

Thanks for the tips gents, that helps a lot. I guess the Defeat X as Life Y is a little annoying at times, you really do have to keep switching. I also agree with you Rummy if I'm in an area with lots of ore, I'll change to a miner just to get the extra loot. I put in a couple of hours last night, really loving it, it's so addictive. Still just wandering around the Castelle/East Plains/Elderwood/Mt Snowpeak areas. I've had the story on hold since finishing the Doom Stone crashing into my attic chapter. Been switching between Woodcutter, Miner and Palladin and getting lots of challenges done. Still only halfway through an Adept in all three though. Finally beat that boss stone in the waterfall cave now that I unlocked the charge special move. Also ventured futher into the Lava cave but I think I'm out of my depth where I managed to get to in there so will come back later. Gives me such an original LOZ vibe with the exploration, it's great! It's strange for me seeing a location close to the start of the game, and not being able to 100% it and move in, I guess I'm just used to how Zelda does things. It seems like in this game there are mini dungeons everywhere that can only be completed in stages unless you're really far into the game and high level. A lot of the challenges seem to be with regard to Port Puerto now so it seems the game is pushing me to explore other areas. May change life again and become a blacksmith or angler before I do though. The only annoyance is how long it takes to travel between the Guild office and the various locations but I guess renting a horse helps with that a little.

Why not just get them from Amazon, £10. Though it's pretty incredible every first wave figure is sold out there at the moment, that has to be a good sign.
