  1. You think a one-time unloackable is more interesting than characters and karts that you can train and improve over time? I dunno, I think the Smash implementation is actually pretty clever.
  2. Really, I found it kept the story going throughout, especially when you finally meet up with Zelda half-way through and then the whole time travel aspect in the third quarter. Twilight Princess is the game that started out very strongly story-wise and then completely abandoned it for the second half of the game.
  3. Eh?? Skyward Sword is probably the Zelda game that focused on story the most! Certainly far more than Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
  4. Those look pretty good I think, apart from maybe Samus. Not a fan of those coloured supports on Fox and Link though, why not just make them clear?
  5. I'm not going to fall off my chair in surprise if they release two games one month and nothing the next month, but with so many titles scheduled for 2015, the only point I was trying to make from the very beginning is that it's likely we'll see one game approx every month. The bottom line is there's a lot coming out next year, which is great news, unless some people think great news should be discouraged on this thread.
  6. "Mario Kart" the brand is too big a name to ditch. But yes depending on reactions to this DLC, it's quite likely the next console MK will be a mix of all their franchises. It would be pretty incredible.
  7. The Serebii bullying is getting really uncomfortable now.
  8. So much for being on your ignore list
  9. Fantastic! Looks like this could be the new Baby Park! I love the idea that the ramps and boosts change place every race. Nice one Ninty.
  10. Agree! Personally I don't particularly care about missing out on FIFA 26, AC 9 and generic war shooter XIII if it means I get to play Nintendo 1st party goodness.
  11. Such a shame it was delayed over here, and for barely a few weeks. It's the perfect Xmas game IMO.
  12. No, what I actually said was I "wouldn't be surprised to see one major release every month". So, more than 12 major releases scheduled for next year and you want to argue that that doesn't equate to one every month. It was demoed extensively at E3 actually. I suggested what I think might happen, based on common sense and reasonable guess work. Are you really arguing over a nothing comment that 12 games equates to one a month? Nothing better to question? Wow, heavy praise, but you'd find something else to complain about.
  13. Yep you're right, we should assume that Nintendo will release Xenoblade and Zelda a week or two apart. You're splitting hairs man and reading far too much into it. I listed 12 games scheduled for 2015. Now add two or three additional games we don't know about, 15 games, so it really isn't a stretch for people to be claiming a game a month.
  14. Drivel? Captain Toad Kirby Yoshi's Woolly World Splatoon Xenoblade Devil's Third Star Fox Zelda U Project Guard Project Giant Robot Mario Maker Mario Party 10 That's one game every month without getting into Mario Kart DLC, extra Amiibo functionality, eShop releases like NES Remix, aaaand all the inevitable Q1/Q2/E3 announcements. People (understandably) bitch and moan about 2014 being lacklustre for Wii U, so for balance a bit of appreciation for the quality titles coming our way next year and the potential for much more, would be good.
  15. If it wasn't a Wii U game you'd be complaining that the Wii U isn't getting any games and Nintendo have abandoned it.
  16. If only Nintendo had a handheld gaming console for a chunk of the portable gaming market...
  17. You could have a virtual analog stick in one corner of the screen and tilt the camera with your other hand. It would work fine (ish). It's just releasing a retail game on the App Store would be a commercial and business disaster. 79p Captain Toad with in-app purchases anyone? No thanks.
  18. One of the 3D Mario directors mentioned they've been at work on a new game since 3D World came out, I wouldn't be surprised to see that and/or a Metroid reveal at E3 for release this time next year.
  19. Might be nice if it's shiny gold, which it most likely will be to go with the whole 'treasure' angle.
  20. Next year is going to be fantastic for Wii U, wouldn't be surprised to see one major release every month. Don't forget MK8 DLC, Mario Maker (which I imagine will be far more expanded than the E3 demo), and potentially Star Fox + whatever else they announce early next year/E3.
  21. The Wii U is an excellent console at the moment, loads of great games for it, and I think it stands toe to toe with the other two. Get it, you won't regret it
  22. What I don't understand is why the coloured support stands for Fox and Link?!? Surely clear plastic would have looked better! Also Link looking down looks pretty terrible
  23. You're not buying the 3DS version just to get one character, you'd buy the 3DS version to have a great 3DS game. + Mewtwo as a nice bonus.
