    I agree with your second paragraph but I don't think you really got what i was trying to get at. It's not how many people like a certain song but how someone's perception of it suddenly changes because more people like it. Who gives a fuck who likes it? If you do then that it all that counts. Fuck Boris down the road.

    I think we all like a little debate here and there but the elitist bullshit gets boring very quickly. I understand people like certain types of music but why do they feel the need to post about it every 5 minutes. Some people also seem to be under the impression that music is only good if it isn't liked by the majority. They like it if 99 people do but as soon as 100 do it's crap. Anyway been listening to some old REM stuff today and i'm still hopeful they can recapture some of that old magic. Accelerate was a good album but it's still nothing on Monster or New Adventures in Hi-Fi

    That AAR song reeks of commercialism, nothing like their usual stuff. The song after that on the album is awesome (Mona Lisa (When the world comes down). Not sure what AAR stuff you've been listening to But it ain't exactly Rock. Bar a couple of heavier songs like Dirty Little Secret and Move Along it's mostly all melodic and acoustic, especially the new stuff. If you're trying Jason Mraz, give the earlier stuff a listen (like Remedy), It's far superior to the new album.

    I got my legs waxed at work once for charity and NEVER AGAIN, I can still feel the pain. I don't do my chest, I'm not a gorilla so I don't shave my chest plus you should have a little hair there, it's your reward for becoming a man.

    So yesterday was mainly fun. About 50 of us went paintballing and as usual it was pretty awesome. Unfortunately I tend to become like Rambo during these events and try things my body just isn't designed for. During one game I made a super slow-mo jump over some oil drums to take cover from incoming fire. I was told it looked awesome but as I landed I heard a big crack in my wrist. Some X-rays later I've broke my wrist. I think it was worth it though.

    I've been waiting for this for a while, it's made by John Wells so should be pretty good. I did start watching the first episode but fell asleep about a quarter in (not a reflection on it, just a long long day). Looked good from what I did see though.

    Third Watch Season 1 Fucking Awesome. Basically it's ER but it follows the emergency services. I was a bit hesitant to get it because only season 1 has been released on DVD and there's nothing worse than getting into a show when you can only watch one season. Regardless of that, it's great. It's got a large ensemble cast and it's one of the few shows where I generally like every character. Buy it now.

    Very few people who post here actually do it to seek opinion, it's normally just to say who is awesome and post some spiritual ramblings about how the artists songs complete them as a person.

    Having a quick scan of your post Gizzy. I'd say go ahead and ask the other out, obviously you have to watch that she doesn't think she is just sloppy seconds but you're a kid and rejections only make you stronger, trust me. You've done the right thing by playing it down, obviously it gets annoying when people get the wrong idea at school and start all the ribbing. Best thing to do is just to joke about it, the more you stress about the more it looks like you really do care and it wasn't just a drunken fumble. I'd also just try and act normal towards the girl at the party, show her that you've moved on and you still regard her a friend. Women being the creatures that they are, she could have been testing you along and really wanting you to declare your undying love for her. Love's a messy business.

    Even when I was looking for a job many years ago I never once considered going on the dole. I always had this image of all the freeloaders on it because they couldn't be arsed getting a job. Fair enough you're entitled to it if you've been paying tax, but if not - fuck off and get a job.

    I think some one fed the writers some high quality weed when they were planning season 2. It becomes very much like a Soap Opera and not the show it was in the first season. Some totally stupid plot lines (You'll have already seen the Landry/Tyra one). It's almost like they just decided to try and make the characters as different as possible. Gladly though, season 3 is a return to form.

    I'm guessing that isn't the only one that offer channel changing, but it's the sort of thing that probably isn't worth skimping on quality. For obvious reasons.

    You need something like this Will wirelessly send the signal and allow you to change the channels remotely. Not cheap though.

    It will work. Obviously as long as you have WiFi and and a registered card from this country, doesn't matter where you are (perhaps maybe China)
