  1. Still unable to make inital first contact with females. I don't know how you guys do it. Was out tonight, a few eyeing me up...but I just couldn't make contact What do you say? How do you converse with them? What subject should be utilised? I'm determined to make sure 2012 isn't as shit for me romantically as 2011...and 2010...and 2009...and 2008...and all but the first day of 2007 Help
  2. There's being able to play in short bursts, then there's being designed to be played in short bursts...there's a difference
  3. The reason why Nintendo's portable games are popular is that while they are big (for the most part), they can easily be played in short bursts while on the bus/train/hearse. The games Sony brings, as said, are just portable versions of those available on home consoles. They're not adapted for portable gaming, they're just the same but played on the small screen. This is why it won't do well
  4. Can I facetiously request that Sony now go third party? No? Ok :P It is a bit disappointing...the Vita is a nice bit of kit and unlike the 3DS, had a fairly decent launch lineup. While you guys do say that it doesn't show sales data from PSN, that is a bit of a moot argument. PSP Go demonstrated that digital distribution like that doesn't work well at this point in time
  5. So looks like my friends aren't really up for doing anything on New Years Eve, which sucks as I could really do with getting ratarsed this week :/
  6. Indeed. Wish it was Lego so it'd be more likely that we get a lego Doctor Who game :p
  7. In addition to the games, got a "tree present" of a Cybermat, which roams all around the room until it bumps into something and changes direction Got loads of stuff in what would have been a stocking, but instead is a huge back of goods. Loads of puzzles, small things to build, ridiculous amounts of sweets (PEZ!) and this
  8. Twp words. They're an awesome pair of words, and I have used them in many similar situations as an item. Cattle.Prod.
  9. This "conference" was really just for stuff coming in the next three months, just as the last one was...wouldn't really be any megatons in it
  10. The problem with DLC is that the developers have taken to cutting bits out of the game, that would have been there for launch, and just releasing them much later as DLC. Or, having the DLC just be an "unlock" of something already on the disk. DLC is killing the video game industry, in my view. Yes, it's helping developers reget "loss" from second hand sales, but it's not the way to go
  11. Felt it was a bit slow to start, but I had a 1 year old constantly making noise so I couldn't really focus on it too much...going to rewatch in a couple of days but I did enjoy it.
  12. Thanks, I really appreciate the support you guys give
  13. The T-Shirt to which I was referring. I also just got a CyberMat
  14. So, I just got back from seeing her...it was awful. She's lost the ability to speak coherently but she's still in there and that's the thing that breaks my heart the most. She's stuck in there unable to be who she is. Once we left, my sister, brother and I just broke down. Worst experience ever
  15. Got some great gifts so far Sonic Generations Halo CoD Layton Pokemon And an awesome Doctor Who t-shirt
  16. Thanks, we're going to continue on with Christmas as planned...just won't be the same. Guess we're going to have to prepare for the inevitable
  17. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it
  18. Can you give me £10,000 please?
  19. Thanks guys. It's just so horrible because it's not something that can be recovered from...it's just going to be downhill and she'll never be the woman she was again, and that's what kills me and what's making me not look forward to seeing her tomorrow :/
  20. 3am in our time
  21. Source: http://andriasang.com/comzhe/nintendo_direct/ There were some interesting Japanese reveals in the last one...wondering what weill be in the next. Just wish it wasn't at 12 JST in Japan. I liked the last one being at 12:00 our time
  22. My nan has vascluar dementia brought on by her mini strokes. Her brain has been damaged and the damage will just get worse and worse and worse so we'll not be able to have her round on Christmas and it won't be long before it's just gone My siblings and I will go visit her Christmas afternoon but it's just horrible. Worst time ever. It's going to be awful :/ She may not even recognise us
  23. I know that's not true, I'm a quarter Belgian and I have ridiculously high standards :p
  24. At the moment, it's doing about 1,000,000 a week. I'd say it'd drop to a third of that, maybe a quarter...as with everything else
  25. End this dry spell before the world ends
