I think the issue most people have with this issue, as I've seen on GB, is the singing...and the sentimentality. I actually saw some people complain that Doctor Who has caved and done a musical. It was a nice little episode. Not epic, not action, but having every episode like that would be so dull

Not quite. There are 3 Mewtwo movies Mewtwo Strikes Back (The first) Mewtwo Returns (A TV movie) Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens (The latest one. Trailer below) All three are interconnected with Mewtwo having gone to the city the latest one is set within right at the end of Mewtwo Returns That scene is from the original Japanese version of Mewtwo Strikes Back. The scene was removed from the dub due to it not doing well in focus tests, and seemingly "dragging" the movie. It came as a special feature to the west during the DVD release of Mewtwo Returns

Oh, I should note that the initial leak of this on Wednesday was labelled as Éclair Forme (エクレアフォルム), presumably based on the French éclair meaning lightning, flash etc., not the pastry. I ignored that originally due to no source on it, not being on the material, but it's worth noting.

Right, let's get this sorted out a bit here. There seems to be some confusion going around. I'll just lay down some facts and we'll go from there Fact the first: This Pokémon REPLACES standard Mewtwo on the poster for the movie Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens. This indicates that it is likely to be Mewtwo. This is further confirmed by the official Japanese site promising the new trailer on April 18th featuring Mewtwo and Newtwo, where it says secrets shall be revealed The official sites say that it's a new Pokémon. This has occurred before, most recently with the reveal of Black & White Kyurem where Smash, and Junichi Masuda, labelled them as new Pokémon. This become a point for discussion for a while until we managed to get the artwork from press sites seen to be labelled as 646_black and 646_white. This to me at least indicates that it's a new form. However, who knows, it could be some new variation introduced in XY It's all moot anyway, we'll find out next week :p

An episode of Doctor Who! This is what I like about the show, it can be epic adventure one week, then an nice emotional piece the next. Was a decent enough episode, and it was gorgeous

Who the hell says this is a pre-evolved form. If it's true, then it'd be an alternate form akin to Meloetta's Pirouette Forme, Keldeo's Resolute Form, Black Kyurem, the Therian Formes, Shaymin's Sky Forme etc
