  1. Wii U footage 3DS footage
  2. Do note that in April, there was a 3DS focused Nintendo Direct, which had a couple of Wii U bits in. Within 37 minutes, they covered 20 different pieces of software and features, all in decent detail. 1 hour is more than enough. Trust me
  3. It's mostly the principle. This whole thing changes game ownership to ownership of a license to play the game. Games you buy now will not work in 10 years when their servers close. You cannot lend games out to friends. It's all ridiculous
  4. Which will just leave Nintendo, but most ignore them due to cost and/or the console being "underpowered". It also makes sense as to why so many publishers are avoiding the console (even before it had issues with sales) This could signify the end of console gaming as we know it if Sony adopts similar practices
  5. The thing that worries me is how silent Sony are about this. You'd think they'd be pushing it as a marketing ploy for the PS4...but their silence makes me think they essentially have the same thing
  6. It's complicated. You can sell a friend your game so they can play it. They have to have been on your friend list for a month and it's one way, you can never get that game back. They then cannot sell the game on themselves. What you read is that you can have up to 10 people on your Xbox One console and content can be shared there. As such, if the person on your console is playing on another, they can play a game from your console. However, not at the same time as you
  7. Knowing Microsoft, all 300,000 will be plugged in through a single multiport plug on the wall...not even surge protected :p Seriously though, they selling games to friends bit is shit. I don't get how a company can screw up this badly
  8. Because it's wrong for companies to want to have a hand in people profiting from their intellectual property? The bastards... It's not like they're preventing people making Let's Plays. They're preventing people profiting off of their IPs, just as COUNTLESS other developers have done already
  9. I don't believe it'll be the same game across two formats. I believe it'll be two separate games which can interact
  10. UK one goes with a subtle brown and silver http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Misc-/Nintendo-Direct/Latest-Nintendo-Direct/Nintendo-Direct-698557.html Notes Wii U specifically
  11. http://www.nintendo.co.jp/nintendo_direct/20130611/index.html holy crap, it's silver... Normally it's Red or Blue. Hype! You know Nintendo's getting serious when they use silver. Rough translation from my translator friend, StreetsAhead
  12. I don't trust crowd reactions anymore, anyway. As we've seen with numerous MS and Sony ones of recent years, it's pushed through the speakers
  13. Various sources who have been confirmed to be right about things on NeoGAF. Nothing concrete though
  14. Everything's stable atm in Japan. 3DS dropped a bit 3DS LL 28,807 3DS 14,057 PS3 11,832 Vita 11,783 Wii U 6,680 PSP 5,807 Wii 1,171 Xbox 360 441
  15. Japan's getting screwed next week if it makes you feel better. They're just getting Mario & Yoshi... ...which makes me think some bombs are going to be dropped at E3 next week
  16. Pretty sure it has been said that it isn't happening, and that the director was bullshitting. HOWEVER, the 50th anniversary is allegedly 90 minutes long, which is essentially movie length, and is having a limited cinema release
  17. Why would they do that? The show became the phenomenon it is now in the US through the Matt Smith series. Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill were not Hollywood by any sense. If they were to go down that path, they'd risk losing what they have...you know, like they did with Torchwood
  18. This image has cropped up, allegedly Microsoft's E3 slate Edit: Scratch that...pretty much guaranteed fake
  19. They'll scrap the 3D Mario and release New Super Wario Bros U!
  20. Because it's better to bring it direct to us within an hour without horrific 20 minute long demonstrations, pausing for ridiculous American applause (which ends up taking 5 minutes total in a one hour presentation), buzz words, sales data etc. Instead, it's game game game game game game game. No TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV TV. No buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword buzzword. It's about the games! In April, there was a 37 minute Nintendo Direct, mostly focused on the 3DS. It contained over 20 games and services, all fully detailed. It's a far more efficient delivery system
  21. Yeah, I was hoping for Link to the Past or other good games :p
  22. ZombiU will be £24.99 permanently on the eShop from Thursday
  23. Only one again this week, unfortunately Spelunker (Tozai Games, NES VC) - €3.49/£2.39
